1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why? GRRR, for me it was Walmart. It is the only game in town, so to speak 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? For someone who is new I would tell them to "Have Fun!". Enjoy what all the craziness is about, feel the excitement, and hopefully the can get a few things off of their list! 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? I love perks. I recall little freebies to a certain number of customers!

I will be looking for a 60" but hopefully at 72"...cross your fingers they drop too!

I have them, and I actually love them. I want to upgrade all closets with them in my home.

I admit I buy stuff I don't need, but can't pass up! Last year I grabbed some towels at Walmart. Oh they are awful! My DH laughed at me for buying them, I can't seem to wear them out for throw them away. What about you? Any buyers remorse purchases?

72" lcd tv for hubby! He is sweet so I will try dang hard to get him upgraded. 2 desktop HP"S with at least 22" lcd monitors some awesome deals for toys for tots!!

I have a lot finished already, leaving only my boys to shop for. One wants a plane ticket home, the other 2 want new desktop computers( for their new loft beds that just came). My budget is already screwed because I will be throwing a baby shower for my daughter in December, a wedding later this fall, and a trip to Disneyland for my boys in October. I am spending more than ever, but it might not be under the tree.

It is a 2 day event this year. My poor sons birthday is on the 25th, and we watch, and now that is our tradition!

The ones at Bestbuy and Walmart are with the lower zoom...so after checking it was a great price thru HSN!!

I ordered one for my MIL with a black and white picture of her childhood, and it turned out really good, but a crisp, new photo would be best.

I used to buy a vacuum every year. I thought I had the worse luck until I chose a kenmore.I loved the Kenmore progressive line. Had 2. I ordered a Dyson last summer, hated it. Compared to what I was used to, it did not pick up as much. I really really really wanted to love it, but sent it back. I have a Hoover windtunnel right now which is awesome. Right there with the Kenmores I had.

I ordered one, even paid for shipping. I figure even at that, if I like it, is saves me a trip to Walmart that always runs at least $100!!!

Oh my!! I am shaking!! i just opened my SS gift, and I LOVE IT!!! I was given the most adorable gingerbread nightlight! It is so cute!! And a Disneyland frame with Mickey! I am going to print off my favorite photo from our trip last week and put it in it!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE my gifts!!! Thank you so very much, they are perfect!!!! Your thoughts were amazing!!!

I always try to gather fun ideas for the next holiday season while enjoying this one, and I am thinking about the gourmet type caramel/chocolate /candy covered apples for gifts for teachers, neighbors, employees( + hopefully bonuses) friends and such. I figured one apple per person per family. Maybe one of the apple slicer/corers to go along with it. What do you think? Would it be a good idea?

I have 2 in my boys closet/ one still nib!! They got them last Christmas, and after opening one, seeing what it does, I never opened the other!!!

I guess I never looked at it as being lying..to the extent that I think "Santa" lives in everyone who reaches out to anyone during the holidays. To me as weird as this is, I think "Santa" is a spirit state of mind. When we take toys for donations, or pick off the angel tree, my kids have always known it was to help, give, and be kind towards others in the spirit of Santa. We joke in our house that when you stop believing in Santa, that is the year you only get socks and underwear. Maybe I still even believe!!! When you have kids, just follow your heart, and you will know exactly what to say!

I was able to make 2 orders, a velour set( glorified pj's) set for to wear on Christmas day, and flannel lined cargos for the boys. I hesitated since we will be heading the outlet in a couple weeks, but with free shipping, I couldn't go wrong!

Our store was so much busier than previous years...also a lot more males shopping!!

My sGD 2 is getting the Rose Petal Cottage, dinette set and tea set from me/us. My Dh just looks at me like I am nuts, but I LOVE to shop for her.

Mine has to be: After mashing and whipping my red potaotes the day before Thanksgiving, put them in the crockpot in the fridge overnight. Take them out, turn them on, they are hot for dinner, and one less thing to cook that day!
