There are several people who do vinyl lettering here where I live, since it is such a big trend in home decor right now. Ok, if you cannot get your hands on the sign... vinyl lettering is very popular right now, and I just ordered a bunch for a wedding, and signs for my dd to put in her home after the wedding. It is really inexpensive..the lettering might cost you all of $3-5 if you can get the board at your local lumber store or craft store and paint. Sand and paint the board what ever color of you choosing, transfer the vinyl....your done!!

Oh! I hope there is something fun soon, my dd wedding will finally be over and I can entertain myself with shopping for fun stuff again!!

Does anyone know if we will see a repeat of the type of prices we saw late last year? I bought soooo much for toys for tots, but I still want more!!! i know about how many kids are in need around here, so it is my goal to try to get something for evryone on the list, and I really loved those deals!!!

If it makes you feel better, mine have been in the "shipping process" for over a week. I have ordered before, and shipping was quick, but this is making me mad.

5 gifts for next Christmas, and 1 birthday gift for next year done!! All my mothers/mother in laws/ and 1 grandmother & sister!! Yippee!! Now I am down to the men in my life!!!

My DS(9) didn't ask for aything either...we had to really push him so he asked for "3 pounds of chocolate"!!!!! I am thinking 3 pounds because they are allowed to ask for 3 things. I had to guess on gifts, and hope it all works out!!

I know it is the spirit of giving, and it is better to give than recieve...I just think it is funny that it seems a lot of people actually go through this!! Do you think the person "getting" the gift likes it, or cares if you give them one? I personally don't bring gifts into my home from people I don't like!!

Seriously!!!! Do you really enjoy all the people on your gift giving list? And if not, how do you deal with it? I realized today how many gifts I give, and how many I actually enjoy to give. Hey, Santa had a list of "naughty & nice", Why does it apply to kids, and not adults?

I consider a bonus as that, a bonus. We have gotten them through out the years, and never quite the same from year to year. Some years it was enough to buy a new car, others....not enough to even get excited over. I have to never "need" it in my budget. then if we do get one....we are doing something fun with it. I hope you get through this holiday season, and hopefully next year you can enjoy a"bonus" if you get one!!!

Oh my goodness!! My s.s. gift is here, and I feel so SPOILED!!!! So many cute things inside a very cute box!! Inside was, fuzzy socks, lip glosses,an adorable notepad, a scarf and gloves set, a sugar cookie mix and hot pads/kitchen towels, a little bag filled with candies( my favorite kinds!!)!! the most adorable gingerbread door hanger I have ever seen!! I collect gingerbread stuff, so that was super special!! I don't even care if I get another gift from anyone this season, because I already got the best one!!! Thank you so much!!!

I have lost my recipe for my gingerbread mold!! Uggh!! I wanted to get started making them, and no recipe!!! Help!!!!

I too, am dealing with a 17 yo son who really is just being a slacker!!! Excpet his cell phone bill keeps running over, his grades are down, he won't even attempt to clean his room( I cleaned it for him and gave him back 7 shirts, 7 jeans, 4 hoodies, ETC, so he couldn't get it too messy). He is being just a pain in the butt around the house & a money pit( because he wont actually do anything to earn any $$), and silly me I got him an Ipod touch/ lots of clothes/shoes etc. I actually told him about the Ipod, let him know it will be going back if I don't see some serious improvement all around. It has helped, but I don't know for how long!!!

My SS went out last night. I apologize in advance for the lack of card/ proper packaging tape( I actually used masking tape)!!LOL!! I seem to be missing my box of packaging goodies, and with my Dh out of town, I have no hope of finding it!!!

dang, i guess i need to get to our walmart to see if they have any left.

Someone gave me an idea about if you leave your letter out for Santa(instead of mailing it), to leave out little treats from the elves, who pick up Santa letters. I wished I would of done this!!
