Ok, I realize it is only August, but they do know how I operate! LOL! They are 12 and 13 this year and know due to our crazy life I am a planner, and I get certain things done early! I so thought it would be IPADS if they asked for them or not. We joked around over the weekend about what they might want: a new corvette, trucks, ipads, girlfriends......NOTHING! No response other that the "Whatever" looks. I was planning on purchasing the ipads next weekend...Now I don't know what to do! Our nearest BestBuy suggested we purchase before September to make sure we did get them! HELP!

18 years! OMG! My MIL had a tradition, and I started and haven't stopped yet! Even if I really don't need to buy anything, I have to enjoy that day!

I think I have 2 ipads on the Santa list this year. My DS12 got an ipod touch for 6th grade graduation and loves it, and I simply cannot think of anything better for him and his brother. they are past toys, and you can only buy so many clothes and shoes!!

I ordered a pair for my DD21 and her new baby for next year(matching) and my DS19 GF! It is Christmas at our home next year!!

It is something I LOVe and fully intend to renew my annual membership! I order from Amazon weekly, and it has been well worth it.

We saved them for memories, and I bought all new ones this year. We bought all new decor. If our older children are home again, we will hang up the older ones!

I do both, and this year I have "Santa Bags" from Lands End for some extra special suprises for the 2 boys still at home(One of my new things this year). None of our presents are under the tree until that night( 2 older kids snooped something awful). The tree is filled with "To go" gifts that need to be delivered so it is not empty until they are all delevered! Through out the years I have had to do both due to having cars from Santa and basketball hoops, gas scooters , etc. I do come from a family that opened all gifts on Christmas eve and that was really weird!!LOL!

My DS12 has his very own village so he could play with it! He has had it since he was about 4 or 5 and loves architecture. He would ride through neighborhoods and point out "Thats a Tudor style home!" I have my Gingerbread village. I love the idea of the hotwheels cars!

As soon as my copy returns from the printer, I would be more than happy to list the stories!

I thought I would share this idea of what has become our tradition on December 1st. My MIL started it with her 6 kids and grandkids, and now I am also carrying it on. She had a book compiled of 25 Christmas Stories. One to read each night of December and ending with The Nativity and Twas the Night Before Christmas. Every December 1st she would bring over a big can of hot cocoa, popcorn, candy, etc. for the kids to snack on during the month while reading her book she gave us. She also would bring an ornament or decoration for each child to unwrap and enjoy. My book is now at the printers getting copied into 5 more books for my children to have for their kids, and now I will be adding to her tradition. I can't tell you how much fun my kids have had over the years with this book. Some stories are super short, some longer, but all classics. I think it helped embrace a few stories that they might not of read on their own!

I am about 3k so far, but we planned on it being one of those years. New grandbaby on the way so my DD NEEDED a video camera! She is having a baby so she needs a cute new outfit to wear home from the hospital with comfy Uggs! Her DH has gotten accepted into a couple medical schools, so my boys wanted to give him an xbox 360 for when they move. The lil boys are so busy on computers for school, they each get new ones. I will finish up for DS19 this weekend...and everything was paid by CASH!

Still no AD here! Not in any newspaper(get it daily) ...not in the mail! WTH? Seriously...NO AD! We have ALWAYS gotten it in the mail the Wednesday before! UGH!

What the heck are they? I can't seem to find a list! I am blaming it on cold medication!! PLEASE HELP!!!

I felt really let down when my DS12 and DS11 couldn't think of anything to ask for. Their response was "Mom, we HAVE EVERYTHING!" OMG! WHAT! No list? Nothing to go shopping for? Are these my children? Then my baby came and sat by me and said" Just suprise me! It worked out good on my birthday!"

I will be lokking for the Philips MP# players. Any idea where they might be located this year?

That is a tough one as I only really want a couple of MP3 players and a microwave. I was hoping to show up at 4:55!!!

I think I am about 95% finished. Stockings and a few impulse buys and I should be good! Now I need the focus to wrap!
