I went to our local Walmart when I found out about this deal and they had none at all, had never had them according to a couple of associates I talked to. Yet I talked to a co worker and she said that she had seen them at the Walmart she goes to. The Walmart we go to never has the good deals , for instance, the Barbie that came out a year or so ago at the original issue price. Could anyone tell me why this is?

We went to TRU one time on Black Friday. Trust me, it will be my last. We were not familiar with the store at all and ended up trying to get our bearings in what turned out to be a check out line. OMG, a woman let us have it. I guess she thought we were trying to skip line. I put the one game we had found back on a shelf and we got out of there. The TRU store that was closest to us was not capable of handling a Black Friday crowd at all. I think it only had 3 or 4 checkouts in it.

My husband tried to take a cell phone back that had no battery with it without a receipt. They wouldn't even let him take the phone back to electronics. He was even willing to buy a battery for it at the store but they simply would not let him take the phone past the front of the store. He asked for a manager and they claimed that there was not a manager around. I hate to cause any kind of fuss but I am seriously considering calling that 1 800 Walmart number.

We tried this one time within our department at work. It wont happen again. There was a small group of us that exchanged gifts every year and word got out about our little exchange. Next thing we knew, other people had found out about it and wanted it to go department wide. While most got nice gifts, myself included, some people got really crappy things. I can remember the recipiant of a very nice gift got a highly religious person a slutty t shirt.

Hubby and I love this place. We have gotten books that are still selling at book stores, brand new and for a wonderful price. I always have a Half Price Books GC in my stocking from our son.

I have been there one time and it will be the last time. I wasn't familiar with the store at all, since our son is way past the age for toys. We had stopped to try to get some kind of sense of direction and had unknowingly stopped in a check out line. A woman cussed me out, I guess because she thought we were jumping line. I parked the one toy we had found on a shelf and got out of there.

We should all try to support ACE Hardware by shopping there on Black Friday and through out the year. What an awesome thing for them to do.

I take a vacation day. I work 3rd shift and if I can't get off on Thursday night, I miss a lot of the deals. Which reminds me, I will have to put in for that night off when I go into work tonight.

Last time I was in our Goodwill Store, I spotted a Dollar Tree puzzle, used. They wanted $2 for it.

Me and hubby have went together the past few years. It's a wonderful outing for us. We get all our shopping done then go out to breakfast together.

I signed up to get emails from them. Just today, I got an email from them saying they had brand name Ts in lots of colors for both adults and kids. I have also received craft pages from them in the past. I got a lot of different ideas around Thanksgiving and Christmas. Here lately, I have been getting beads for my jewelry making and just last week, got some beaded ribbon.

I would give her the gifts, tell her that knowing I helped a child smile on Christmas morning was worth more than any gift could cost.

We have several traditions but I will just post about our latest one. I have an aunt who turned 90 this past May. She lives about 100 miles from here. Since she spends Christmas with her daughter and her family, her daughter and son in law will bring her over here at some point between Christmas and New Years to spend a few days with us and her sister that lives here in Cincinnati. We have a great time, exchanging gifts. While we don't have the turkey/ham thing that we do at Christmas, do have a special easy to prepare meals. Most of the time, I have to fix my Roll Ups because that is a huge favorite and of course we have other goodies too.

This will be my first Black Friday at a super center, that is if they have what I want at a good price. I have a question. How do you tell which item is which since it is wrapped in black plastic? We plan on being at the store around 3A and will be in search of a good deal on a digital camera for our son. Now if they have one at a great price, how will I know where to wait?

they hate me because I won't take any crap and he plays favorites. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` And that, JB would insure that you got a nice gift from me if you were my boss. I can't stand bosses who play favorites. My boss does it all the time and his favorites are the ones who walk around and do nothing but snitch on other people or sleep on the job (I am 3rd shift). And no, they haven't snitched on me, they can't get anything on me. My boss is not well liked at all. One year one co worker tried to take up a collection to buy him a gift and got a grand total of $11 and that is from a staff of around 30 people. Even his faves wont put in for him a gift because they probably don't really like him either.

I didn't shop at Walmart last Black Friday and didn't miss it one bit. There is other places with great deals out there. I did my shopping for the most part at Target and got everything I went after.

Has anyone here ever heard of this department store? They claim to be New Yorks #1 fashion discount chain store. they do have soem good prices in the ad we got but it is their grand opening. Any infor about this store would be appreciated.

Best: The Cameo that belonged to my Grandmaw. My Dad had it mounted as a pin. Worse: A set of some kind of fragrance (can't remember the name) my hubby got me from Victorias Secret. The stuff smelled like urine on me.

I don't think it's a good idea to go on Wednesday, with or without cash or credit cards. People intent on doing a person harm is going to assume that anyone waiting outside a store for Black Friday deals is going to have a lot of cash or credit cards. People have been known to get injured or even killed for not having anything for the thug.

I have shopped on Thanksgiving before. I don't have to cook Thanksgiving dinner, we go to my aunts house. I have plenty of time to shop on that day because of that.

I am already in search of coal, with mud on it if possible.

I love the Dollar Tree. I get most of my cleaning supplies there. You never know what you are going to find at a Dollar Tree. One time I just happened to stop by one not far from my home and found Fruit of the Loom pocket Ts, 2 to a pack for only $1. There was not a thing wrong with them. Needless to say, I stocked up in my husband size. The pocket Ts are really hard to find and when you do, they most of the time cost around $3 for just one.

Is anyone in the grater Cincinnati area? i would love to know if there was anything good left at the Meijer & Kmart stores around here.
