Got another Phillips Hue starter kit for my sister & bil (because, who doesn't want light bulbs for Christmas?). I wish they'd had the dot & xbox live on the early sale, but I'll have to wait .

I was setting the DVR out the 2 weeks it will allow, and got confused. So, just so you know, they've apparently changed the name of the 11/22 movie From "Secretly Santa" to "With Love, Christmas". I searched it, and it's the same movie.

I bought my ornaments today. I'll get them boxed up and hopefully in the mail Monday. I try to get the ornaments out before Thanksgiving, but all of a sudden Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK! LOL

Well, I knew it was an impossibility but I ran over to my local Target on lunch. Sure enough, no luck. So I rushed back to the office to be here at 1:00, and once again Walmart let me put it in my cart but not check out.

I don't generally shop there, but I know a few years ago they had an awesome sale before Christmas. I don't think it was on Black Friday though. Edit ** Come to think of it, that might have been more than "a few" years ago that I'm thinking of. My son was still in high school and he's 26 now! How on earth did that happen?? LOL

That's awesome! I had everything ready to go as well, but I guess I didn't hit the submit button quite fast enough. LOL

The Oklahoma City Stockyards does a Cowboy Christmas Parade every year. Every year, I think "I just might get up and go to that this year", and every year I don't. Maybe I'll go this year. The grands would love it.

Isn't Groupon an online store? Or are you talking about the ones from Best Buy, mentioned above?

They let you get really excited when you can put it in your cart. Then as soon as you hit the submit button, they throw that pop up at you that says "This item is no longer available" .

They have 2 of the 4 games I need, cheaper than elsewhere. But I can't get there by 4:00 and I don't think I want to take that chance. Still hoping I can get them online at Target or Walmart and not have to worry about it.

My spreadsheet is filling in with tracking numbers. That's great! On the other hand, every time I get a new tracking number it reminds me how behind I am in my own SS shopping.

last year, I waited until Friday afternoon to decide I wanted the batteries from HD. Looked at the 3 stores in my area online, only one had any left, but I was able to buy 3 packages online and pick them up in store. Needless to say, I overestimated my need for AA batteries and still have a lot left, LOL, but the point is you shouldn't have any trouble getting them.

Well, I can't help you with the shopping with Mama, but I can try to set your mind at ease about the boy getting hurt. Those little 6 volt ride ons don't go very fast. As long as he has room to ride, he'll be fine .

And never forget to remove any evidence it's being re-gifted. I once received a gift with an old to/from sticker on the bottom. It wasn't a re-gift though, it was actually something my mom had picked up at a garage sale.
