Alrighty, Folks. The lists have all been sent. Check them. Check them twice. Then let the shopping commence!
-
Also, for online shopping - make sure your passwords are up to date. If they've expired or you've forgotten them, take care of that ahead of time. And while you're there, make sure your credit card info is up to date at any and all websites you might be shopping at. You don't want that must have item to sell out while you're looking for your purse.

The card list has been sent. If you did not receive it, but should have, please let me know ASAP. Thanks!!
-
Sorry about that, I fixed it.
-
Again with so many mail in rebates. I guess they get folks in the store.
-
The first 3 minutes, it kept saying "not available anywhere near you". I figured it was sold out. For grins, I tried again about 15 after, and it let me add it to my cart, but then it said out of stock. I was kind of on the fence about whether I wanted one or not anyway, so I guess my decision was made .

The newest Madden game and the newest Call of Duty game. Oh, and usually 12 month XBox live, but I never did find that cheap last year. One small I buy every year is the memory foam mats at Walmart for like 2 or 3 bucks.

Years ago, it was me, my sister, and my mom. Mom actually was in her car, while my sister and I were in another, but we did what we could to fill all the lists that way. Somewhere in there, Mom quit going. Later, my cousin started going with us, and that lasted a few years. When All three of our boys have gone 1 year each, around age 15 or 16, and said never again. We got our other sister to go all of twice. But, that was after they started the midnight openings so it was too late. She never got to enjoy the "real" black Friday shopping. LOL. When my daughter in law came in to the family, she started going with us, and last year my niece went and I think she's going again this year. But the 1 constant has always been my sister. Edit to add: Doresia (above) is my sister. We were commenting on this at the exact same time. See? Constant.

Question - I looked this up yesterday, because I wasn't 100% clear on what was included. Nintendo's website says MSRP $59.99 (I realize that's "suggested" and supply and demand will dictate higher prices), and loaded with 30 games. Target's is $79.99 with 21 games. Are there different versions of this console? https://www.nintendo.com/nes-classic **ETA - Nevermind. I looked again and answered my own question.

Last day to sign up. Everyone, please check the lists in the original post to make sure I have you where you want to be .
-
Do they stay little?
-
1 more day to sign up! I hate to think of anyone missing out. I know at least 1 person checked in last month to say they were looking forward to it, but I haven't heard anything. Hoping everything is okay!

I love it! She will treasure her forever.

I watched that one yesterday too. And the next 2 weekends' new movies are set to record already. I really wish the guide went out more than 2 weeks, I'm afraid I'll forget to record one. Don't want to miss any .
-
OH! See, now THAT I did not know! LOL. I should pay more attention. Thank you very much for the information.

Yes, and I know a couple places will have it on sale for Black Friday. I was just hoping to take advantage of today's sale. I suspect I'll be able to get Madden on sale on BF as well. I don't know about Injustice 2 though, I've never looked for that one before.
-
Bummer. I wasn't sure if it would be, but when I looked up the game, it did show the deal.
-
I was excited to take care of all 3 video games I need with Target's B2G1 sale. But, it wasn't meant to be. COD WWII preorders show available for the Xbox One, but when I put it in my cart it says it's out of stock . Guess I'll wait and see what kind of deals I end up with in the BF sales. I need Call of Duty WWII for XB1, Madden18 for XB1, and Injustice 2 for PS4.

I messaged them on Facebook last week to ask how to get one. They said that they are unable to mail them, but they would be in select newspapers today (10/29), or a copy can be picked up in store today while supplies last. I haven't decided if I want to get around and go to the city to get my hands on one or not. I just want one for the grands to do their wish lists.

There are some smaller items (like single makeup compacts, for instance) that they will not allow you to buy alone, because it would be cost prohibitive to ship just that. So, they require you order at least $25 worth of merchandise in order to get those items.

I agree with all of your points. And your plan to take your baby out on Friday sounds like a good one to me. Like you say, the crazy happens when the sales start. He'll be safe and warm waiting until Friday morning. One of my biggest Black Friday pet peeves is people that take their small children to Walmart on Thursday evening at the beginning of the sale, then by the time they are in the line to check out they are yelling at the kids for acting up. The children never should have been put in that situation in the first place. And to have a child anywhere near where fights are likely to break out, really ticks me off. I could go on and on, but I'll step down and mind my own business now.

I'm in Oklahoma. We might have tornadoes one day, and snow the next. We've BF shopped in everything from sleet & snow to t-shirt weather. A few years back we had so much rain, there was 3 inches of water in the parking lots. Had to buy dry socks, lol. This year, we should have a high around 50° and a low around 30°. But every Okie knows, that's subject to change and we're way to far out for accurate forecasting.

I saw the Echo in the Kohl's ad for $29.99, so obviously I was wrong Sometimes, it pays to be wrong.

We've made a lot of memories. A few of note would be: the year my sister and I showed up at the mall super early to go to KB Toys, only to find out that mall didn't HAVE a KB Toys. Then there was the year my sister stood in line to get in to Toys R Us, the line went all the way out to the street (don't know why they didn't have them lined up against the building), it was sleeting and her coat was in my car (I had left to go somewhere ELSE for a different "must have")! Or more recently, when my dil got my grandson a recliner. The guy at Atwoods was like "no way is that going to fit in the car". Well... http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k499/ts1852/603995_4109324451295_1861433049_n.jpg
