Sometimes I think I put more thought into the gifts for this exchange than I do my family. LOL I've read the lists several times, but haven't settled on a good idea yet.

MMM. No bake cookies are some of my favorites!

Awesome Gatorburg! I got it, thanks!
-
I was wrong. It was $49.99 when I was there the other day, but it looks like it's $59.99 today.
-
He got the letter. If it releases tonight, Walmart will release it themselves as well.

Ebay has 12 months xBox Live for $42.99 today. Can't decide whether to jump on that or hope for an even better deal. In years past, I've been able to get it for $30 or $35. But last year I never did find it that cheap and ended up giving $50.

Actually, we went the other direction. We get for each other (sisters), but not for the kids. Our kids are grown (or pretty much) now, and a couple are married, and it became too much. They get so much already, and my mom gets for all of them. I can't do it though, I get for my nieces and nephews every year.

My DIL has those dream tents on her list for my grandson's. I need to do some research on those to see what they normally run. **Turns out, that's the regular price.

Cabela's always has give-aways for the first 500 (I think). A few really nice gifts, and mostly $5 or $10 gift cards.
-
Looking forward to it!

LOL, I saw the picture ON the TV, and totally did not notice it was a TV.

Certainly makes me nervous to do ANY Black Friday shopping there. I want to know I'm going to have a place to return to, if something goes wrong.
-
Well, they did change up the front page a little this year. No TV, no camera.

This is exciting news. I wish they'd give a list, but a little mystery is good too .

Well, I guess I will be returning the 3 games I bought the other day (assuming I can get them on BF). The savings on the 3 games combined would be almost $20. That's worth the hassle of returning, to me.

Hope that helps

Ooooh, yes please! I've gone back through old threads with pics and most of the pics are no longer available.

I like cinnamon with or without apple in the house. Or peppermint.

Candy, candy candy. When the boys were little, I filled the stockings with candy and put a stuffed animal sticking out the top. Then it became just the candy .

But he continues year after year because he knows he is bringing happiness and excitement to hundreds (thousands?).

Where are you going first this year on Black Friday/Thanksgiving?

We pretend to wait on the ads, but seriously it's always Walmart first. -
Thank you. It's a family affair, . My mom has done them for years, and a lot of people have come to expect them every year. So, now I bake the cookies and take them to her house where all of us kids and grand kids meet up to decorate them.

Years ago, I got to Best Buy around 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning. Sale started at 6:00 or 7:00, I don't remember. I remember I was looking at a desktop computer for my mom, and they were already out of the tickets for it, so I left and went to Toys R Us (which was my planned 2nd stop). There was no one there yet, so that was both the earliest and probably the only time I was ever first in line anywhere. LOL I was also by myself. So this was before my sister started going with me, so it must have been many many many years ago.

I will get most of my "really wants" online, if I can. But we always go out, and when we do I always find more to buy.
