Oh, if it's in my hand I'm getting it. (That's my attempt at sounding much tougher than I really am. LOL)

I consider myself pretty tech savvy and able to figure things out. But I have no idea how to pay with my phone at the register, and honestly I don't want to stand there looking like an idiot trying to learn. How does it benefit them to force customers to use the app vs just paying with a credit card?

Hot toys for the 2018 holiday season discussion thread
Bopeep replied to jellybean051901's topic in 2018
Those are just threads that haven't been started yet. There will be many many threads to follow in the next couple months. You can kick those threads off, if you'd like. -
They kind of do on higher priced items. I believe, depending on the price, you can get 6, 9, or 12 month special financing.

My daughter recently posted this on Facebook with a "YES!" caption. LOL. So, it is currently residing in my Amazon wish list. I was reading in the q&a that they will have a couple more colors available in the next month or so.

Just ordered one for my daughter. My sister and I are locked in thanks to the t-shirt club. Gearing Up!

Oh, that's awesome! I think I would be finding someone (call me if you need to ), to play Santa for a few minutes to take that call!

September: Football! My Birthday! My son's birthday! 2 grandson's birthdays! And the start of the BER months which usher in more Black Friday discussion and my most favorite time of the year!

The BER months are here! Getting more and more excited! This is my favorite time of year

My first year with no kids of my own in school, I went and bought backpacks full of crayons and color books and stuff for my grandkids (who were nowhere near ready for school yet)!

The countdown is on!

She will always be Daddy's little girl.

Ah, August. Tax free shopping weekends and first days of school. Getting us very close to the 100 days till Black Friday mark. Less than 30 days to NCAA kickoff. On last scorching hurdle before we get in to the 'ber' months.

It was a 16 ounce bottle of McCormick's pure vanilla, and the sale price was like $16! I had stepped away from my desk for just a minute, but of course it got snatched up immediately. :/
-
I made a pretty good start on my Christmas list yesterday. I missed out on a couple really good deals and I'm still kind of sad about those, lol. The best deal I missed was a bottle of vanilla, of all things .

Pro Tip: When you're scrolling through the upcoming deals and want more info on an item DON'T OPEN THE ITEM IN THAT WINDOW! When you hit the back button, it does not take you back to where you were. Right click, and open link in a new window. You'd think I'd learn, but I've wanted to kick myself 2 or 3 times already this morning.

My 7 year old grandson has decided he wants an "Alexa" for his room so he can listen to music when he goes to bed (I honestly don't think he knows what a radio is, lol). I think I will try to pick up a dot for him, just not sure if the kids' version is worth the extra money or if I just get the regular dot. I don't worry about him buying things through it, he wouldn't know that's even a possibility. That said, if the kids' version gets marked down enough on Prime Day I will probably pick it up. **I just spent some time reading the reviews for the kids' version, and I think I won't even worry about it. I'll just get him the regular dot and be done. I feel quite sure all of the Echo devices will be special priced on Prime Day.

You're right about the price changes, wonder how they'll handle that. Overall, though, I'm pretty excited about this. I love getting toy books so the kids (grandkids) can circle their wish items. The Toys R Us catalog was one of the things I was going to miss about them.

If you get to go back to 20, I get to go back to 16! LET'S DO THIS!

I love Christmas in July! It's just enough to tide me over till November . I'm looking forward to what Prime Day offers this year too. AND, I've already revamped and saved the Secret Santa thread starter, in case I head that up again this year.

It's Christmas in July time! I watched QVC Christmas items most of the day yesterday, and Christmas movies on Netflix yesterday evening. QVC has an 11 foot inflatable Santa driving a truck delivering a tree. I don't usually like inflatables that much, but I sure wished I could afford that . Unfortunately, I don't have the Hallmark Movies channel that is already showing Christmas movies. I bought quite a bit on Amazon Prime Day last year. Nothing at all the year before. So, I'm looking forward to seeing what is available this year. Most of all, we're on the downhill slide to Black Friday! My most favorite time of the year!!
