Can't beat free!

Love it all!

I don't wrap until everything is bought. If I wrapped early, I'd be second guessing myself about what I wrapped and what's where, even though I would have it on a list. LOL.

My tv package doesn't include Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. I always feel like I'm really missing something not getting to watch those Christmas movies . I might have to upgrade just for October-December, LOL.

I find the Lifetime movies to be on par with the Hallmark movies. I was actually just typing up the Lifetime and Hallmark schedule for this year! I've watched some of the movies on UP, but they seem a little off somehow. I don't know if it's the acting or the directing or if they're just slightly lower budget.

I had to go look this up. I don't know much more now than I did before. LOL

I don't decorate for fall. I wish I did, but I just don't get motivated. I used to decorate for Halloween, when my kids were little. But I live at the end of a dead end road, on the very edge of town, so no one ever comes by my house to see it anyway. Christmas is a different story. I will start decorating for Christmas around mid-November. I may be the only one that sees it, but it's all for me anyway .

Countdown to my favorite time of the year!

It's funny, the things we remember. When I was in first grade (or thereabout), my sister was in seventh grade (or thereabout) and she had a Shaun Cassidy album. I can see that album just like it was in front of me now. Anyway, I took that album to school for show & tell (my only defense is I must have thought it was really cool, the way my sisters went on about him). Of course, I didn't tell my sister I took it. And, of course, a little boy made me mad and I hit him with my book bag. The book bag with the Shaun Cassidy album in it. Oops. I guess it's really no wonder she hated me when I was little.

I was just about to say, "we're all warmed up now, bring on Black Friday!" LOL

I picked up a few things yesterday. My best find was a 16 oz bottle of vanilla for $22. Last year it was $16 and I missed it, I'm still kicking myself for that one. But $22 is still a really good deal. Other than that, I picked up a few toys, an Instant Pot, and 2 of my grandkids have been saving their money for a Kindle, so I got those ordered as well.

I just got a letter that they are going to cancel my credit card if I don't use it. I guess this will be a good time to use it .

So, I read that today is Leon Day (Noel, spelled backward). And, apparently, on this day you get to listen to Christmas music as loud and freely as you want. So I didn't go that far, I won't make my coworkers listen, LOL. But I DO have it cranked in the headset right now.

I told my kids the other day that Christmas in July sales and Prime Day are coming up. I need wish lists! Of course, they LOL'd my text and not a one of them has sent me a list. I'll ask again in November, and won't get lists then either. But I'm always hopeful .

OH NO! At least Black Friday is late this year. We'll be sure to save the really fun stuff for when you get back . Enjoy your trip!

I saw pictures of some of the destruction. I hope you and yours are okay. Here in OK, we like to think we are fairly used to it and usually chalk it up to "Springtime in Oklahoma", but man the last 2 weeks have just been non-stop severe weather. Even our TV meteorologists are getting cranky.

I swear I get in the BF mood earlier and earlier every year! I'm already so ready. LOL Christmas in July and Prime day are coming, that oughta tide me over .

I 2nd this. For some reason, I have to buy chapstick every year on BF.
