  1. I keep a list for the year. I actually start a list of ideas as they come to me, and then I write down what I actually get them. Once I get their gift wrapped and shipped (if needed) I'll mark that on the list as well. It's more about organization for me than it is to look back and see what I've gotten for other people.
  2. The only way that I do that is if we are shopping in a group and split up the stores. If they don't want to go BF shopping and want me to pick something up for them, I won't do it. If they want to wait in line at another store at 4am and help me out, too, I'm more than happy to pick something up.
  3. LOL, no! I just look young for my age. I shop the clearance racks for women's and men's clothes, plus all the end-caps, so I'm spending a lot of time in there and looking through a lot of stuff. I can see how it looks suspicious, but it's funny that I know who 2 of their "shoppers" are, since they tail me all the time.
  4. The rebate was only available the week of 10-9-05. Back to regular price, now.
  5. As of his Tuesday Dr visit, he was 11 3/4 lbs. He's approaching double his birth weight, already!
  6. Yeah, they employ 1 plainclothes security person. If I'm dressed for work (shirt&tie) I don't get followed, but if I'm in weekend wear (hoodie / t-shirt and jeans) I always notice them. It turns into a game sometimes, so it probably just makes me even more suspicious.
  7. I'm going to stop at Target tomorrow, so I'll take a look and see what they are stocking. I'll have to write down what I see is in large supply. Target always has one of their plain-clothes "shoppers" follow me for a while, since I scope out all the end-caps for clearance stuff. This could get interesting.
  8. It is a good basic laptop. What do you plan on using it for?
  9. This is MUCH cheaper. Especially now that only scalpers and brokers are selling their tickets.
  10. For those of you looking to get an XM radio for BF, Cicuit City is currently running a deal on the SkyFi for free! You don't need to activate them to get the rebate, so you can save them until Christmas and not waste the subscription time! http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=15760
  11. What's your price range and are you looking for any certain features? Sears has their 5.5hp mower with the Honda engine on it for $250, which is a good price. Those mowers last forever on very little maintenance. Just keep them clean and winterize them. You can always find the budget mowers at Sears, Home Depot, etc for around $100-$125.
  12. No, dirty is when you open the newspaper stand and help yourself to all the papers.
  13. I'm always tempted by the electronics at Best Buy and Circuit City, but my heart is still in the tool section at Sears.
  14. Very nice deal!
  15. I'm not sure, but I went to the Grand Opening of the one in Gurnee, IL, and they had some great sales.
  16. There are also a lot of good free spyware programs out there. SpyWare Blaster Adaware Spybot Search & Destroy
  17. I would go with AVG Free for you anti-virus program. I still use it exclusively at home, and it's never let anything harm my computer. http://free.grisoft.com
  18. I love them! It's even better when everyone knows to get me cards from the same place, so I can use more there. I prefer cash and GCs over presents, because I usually buy what I need, anyway.
  19. FZ30 at Buydig.com $528.59 at BuyDig.com FZ20 Black - FZ20 Silver - $399.88 at Vanns.com
  20. I've gone to Kmart in the past. It all depends on what sale items I'm looking for. We've picked up pillows and sheets for our guest room in the past, and they were really inexpensive. Sorry, I don't remember what they cost.

You can buy it and use it as is. If you want to travel with it, a case is a good idea. If you don't like touchpads, a mouse is nice. I have a Microsoft Wireless Notebook mouse that works well for me.
  22. No, no ebay shopping for me. I've discovered that the deals on Ebay are few and far between. People pay too much for things there, because they want to "win." It seems that sellers always describe their items to be in better condition than they actually are, too, so I prefer to just not take the chance there for gifts.
  23. Wow, it took 10 days for them to process the order. I just got my order confimation today, but no shipping confirmation. The price was right, but they have got problems with processing orders, that's for sure.
  24. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=15443 Here's another option. It's made by Sandisk, and I've heard good things about them, too.
