  1. Best Buy - TV's, Digital SLR, LCDs, and if there's time - iPod and GPS.
  2. I looked at DeepDiscountDVD.com and a few other places, and it looks like your best price will be at Overstock. That's even before the 12% coupon.
  3. Whatever you do, don't look at Kodak. They are tempting, because of their features, but they rarely take as nice of pictures as their competing Canon, Nikon, and Panasonic cameras. The Canon A520 sounds like a great fit for you. It's compact, 4x optical zoom, 4mp, and it takes 2 AA rechargeable batteries. A lot of cameras that take rechargeables need 4 AA batteries, so you have to carry twice as many spares.
  4. We have it at either my parent's house or our house. We have the bigger living rooms, so my sisters and grandparents join us. Her mom and brother usually come by on Christmas Eve or later in the day on Christmas.
  5. Yes, you can set favorites in the GPS systems. $400 is about the best you'll find for a color GPS with voice navigation. You could wait until BF to see if there are any deals on them, if you wanted to.
  6. I'm going to see if I can leave it in my parent's house. My youngest sister's room is vacant, except for when she comes home from school for holidays. I'd need a HUGE pile of laundry to hide her gift.
  7. I'm almost done with getting gifts. I know, that's not the way men are supposed to do Christmas. I have the hardest gift left, though. I know what I want to get my wife, but I'm trying to find a better price and then I need a place to store it until Christmas day.
  8. OK, so the Garmin looks better to me, now. It has a battery, so it can be portable if you want it to be. The Magellan has to be powered to work.
  9. They look to be pretty much the same in features. They both have SD card expansion slots, touch screen, and voice navigation. The Magellan software looks to be a lot more inclusive, however, with point of interest mapping, which I've found to be incredibly useful. Edit: Nevermind the POI comment. Apparently the Garmin has it, too. So, they are pretty much the same. I'd read some reviews and see which pro/con list best suits you.
  10. The low end Garmin and Magellan units are in the $400 range, and they have voice prompts. The Garmin C320 and the Magellan Roadmate 300 are both close to $400 right now at buy.com.
  11. If you go with crutchfield, there are some coupon codes. Here's the list I've found. Crutchfield $10 off $50 plus Free shipping using Visa code: PA139 Crutchfield free shipping code: PA145 Crutchfield $20 off $150 code: PA413 Crutchfield $20 off $100 PA166 Crutchfield $10 off $50 PA133 Crutchfiend $50 off $250 PA440
  12. PC Connection has the 30 GB Ipod w/Video for $294 - $20MIR = $274. It's priced better than the iPod photo, but does everything the photo version does, plus it plays video. http://www.pcconnection.com/ProductDetail?Sku=6036012
  13. BB&B Mailing List If you sign up for their mailing list you get coupons and ads 1-2 times per month. They usually send out a 10-15% off coupon that is good for the current month.

    We're on CNN.com!

That's incredible! Have you seen a lot of traffice generated from that story?
  15. Once Target gets them, they will probably still have a 10% off coupon that will save you $40 off of the 60GB Ipod w/Video.
  16. Today and tomorrow (Nov 1st & 2nd) Kohl's is having a 50% off storewide sale. They've also mailed out coupons to their card holders for a minimum of 15% off all purchases with the Kohl's card.
  17. Dell has been having the A520 at around $140, lately. Keep an eye out for the next deal on them by watching the Dell Deals section here at GottaDeal.
  18. This is great! I love BF prices, but not the crowds.
  19. I have an aunt and uncle that I'm not too close with, but they always send these craft-show type gifts that they make themselves. I appreciate the gesture, but a card would be just fine by me, so I don't have to hang on to the stuff just because it was a gift from a family member.
  20. You can't stack the 10% off coupon code that GottaDeal has posted. I was hoping it was possible, but it won't work.
  21. In-laws - Christmas Eve My family - Christmas Day It works nice that way. I'm glad the two families had different traditions!
  22. The entire extended family gets together and we have ham and prime rib. My uncle is an executive chef, so he always does the meat and it's excellent.

    christmas music

I wait until December to start playing it, myself. It's usually Tran-Siberian Orchestra. I did pick up Barenaked for the Holidays - Barenaked Ladies last year, and it's pretty good.
