http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=824482 That thread gives a wealth of info on the prepaid services. If he has a GSM phone, all he needs is the prepaid sim for T-Mobile or Cingular. Cheap GSM phones can be had on Ebay and other places.

Great find, CA. -
I was looking through the E510 specs, and they come preinstalled with the "Wild Tangent Gaming Client." Isn't that spyware? I know I've cleared that off of many machines because it's ID'd by all the software programs as spyware.

Are they pushing stuff through their outlet again? Last time they did this I got a couple of desktops for a great deal and was able to sell them both for a $100 profit.

You rock, queen! Thanks. :)

Glad you got a scanner. :) I'll check again tonight instead of bugging you.

Do you have AAA or an Entertainment coupon book? Both of those have discounts for rentals.

I use the one from www.stashtea.com. I love it. I probably use it 4-5 times per week. Sometimes a lot more if I'm making coffee for company. You just put 2T of coffee gounds in, pour boiling water over them, steep for 2 minutes, press, and then pour your coffee. That one makes 1 coffee cup full. I use it for tea, too.

Large hard drive (300+ GB) for external enclosure
mrn8 replied to mrn8's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
$.30 /GB is excellent. Thanks, Ray. I prefer Seagate drives, too, because they have been the most reliable and the most quiet for me. -
Check out what's in your area at DSLreports.com. I'm not sure where you are located, but TDS Metrocom is currently offering 1mb down / 512kb up for $9.95 per month.

How long do you need the van for? Weekend or weekday? If you have AAA or and Entertainment book you can get some good discounts on Enterprise and Hertz. Let me know what the days are that you are renting and I could send you a coupon from the Entertainment book if you need one.

I've got a firewire enclosure for an IDE hard drive and I'm looking for something 300GB + to put in it. I currently have a 40GB drive in it, but I've got over 150GB of data that I need to back up from my computer. Just my digital pictures are taking up almost 40GB at this point. I'm not looking for a specific size, but the best price per GB. Rebates are fine.

I paid $50 just over a year ago. If you can get 1 year of Live for ~$17, that's a smokin deal!

That's the same rebate form I posted. The one I posted still works for me, but it may just be in my cache. -
edit: nevermind...bad company.
