Organization? (Do you carry ads with you? What about cash and wallets???)
mrn8 replied to momof2many's topic in 2006
The GottaDeal wishlist, a Credit Card (with cashback on all purchases, of course) and Driver's License is all I carry. I don't want to risk my wallet. There's so much going on that I just leave that at home and let the CC do the talking all day. -
How about using Word-of-Mouth advertising. We all spend enough time in line, it's really easy to bring GottaDeal into the conversation. FWIW, the new gottadeal T's are nice. Much better design than the original, I think.

Mine came, too. Now I just have to wait until Dec 28th to actually see them.
-
Well, they charged my CC, so I'm sure it's just a delay.
-
Is anyone else's confirmation email delayed? I'm suddenly nervous that I missed something.

Front and center, 5th row back! Sweet..:)

10:01am and theres an 8 minute wait time to see what's available. Gah!

I'm 5'7" and always seem to get stuck right behind a big-haired woman. It would be laughable if the tickets didn't cost so much.

They'll have some excellent Grand Opening sales. At their prices, I'm able to replace most of my work clothes every year or two.
-
I'm trying to decide. Either Racine, WI or Gurnee, IL. Depends on what's available and which of my friends I'll be shopping with.

I'm hoping to score a great Christmas gift for Luke. He'll be 15 months by then. Although, it looks like I could get cardboard boxes from the back of the store and he'd love those.

Yep, I can't wait. I'm still searching for the ideal seats...floor seats tend to give an obstructed view, but the upper level that we had last year were too far away and at a bad angle. I'm hoping to get lower level - just to the side. Here's hoping.

Camera recommendations and deals

You can also tell her to watch prices on the Canon Eos 350D. It's the current Canon digital SLR, but it's being replaced shortly, so the prices on the 350D will be dropping. I've already seen specials on it at Amazon.com and Dell.com. -

Actually, you can put wide-angle and telephoto lenses on the Canon A-series (A610, A620, etc) and the Canon G series. I've got a Canon G5 with tlephoto, wide angle, and a handful of filters. I got my lens adapter and lenses from http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/G5G3.html. However, as a camera that has the most widely available accessories you'd want to go with a Canon Eos 350D because you can fit any EF lens on it. -
Sears has a Galaxy 700W microwave for $39.99 right now. I'll let you know if I find anything else.

Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse $10 - Office Depot
mrn8 replied to RossMAN's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Excellent price. I think I paid $21 for mine. That mouse is easy on the batteries, too. My current one eats through one about every 2 weeks. -
Opinions needed on RCA MP3 player on sale
mrn8 replied to sbaldasare's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
RCA is hit and miss with reviews on their MP3 products, but I've never use one so I can't tell you anything from personal experience. The price is ok, but not excellent. If this is for Christmas, wait it out a little while. You should be able to find a 512mb Creative or Sandisk brand MP3 player for $25-$35 by December. -
$9.95 Shipped after $19 MIR. :) You can get a 1GB for $19.95 shipped, but you need to add $5.05 to your cart to qualify for free shipping. Might as well, since shipping is over $5 alone.

Check out this deal from Buy.com: http://www.buy.com/prod/Compaq_EVO_N610C/q/loc/114/70015734.html?adid=17654&dcaid=17654 It's $399 AR for a nicely equipped notebook. -
Did you get your rebates? $120 in rebates makes me nervous. I think I'd rather pay $200 up-front on a Samsung with $25 in rebates than to take the chance.

My grandparents are looking to pick up a 19" LCD. Standard or widescreen format is fine. Here is the "perfect world" scenario: 19", silver, built-in speakers, $150. If you can find that, I'll be very grateful.
