  1. So is this basically replacing the same rewards system they just took away from the Citi Dividend Platinum Select card? I wonder if they'll do a product change with the same deal.
  2. We did the Jone's Soda thing for our wedding party and it turned out really well. http://www.myjones.com/ Maybe you could do his wedding photo or a photo of your kids / you and your husband? Does your dad golf? You could buy him a GC to one of the local courses or pro shops.
  3. I had my Amazon pre-order in pretty early, but I wasn't sure I wanted to pay that price. I'll still wait until their first price-drop probably, but I could have had the Amazon order shipped to someone else. Oh well.

Hmmm...I forgot about Toyland. Maybe I'll go there instead of TRU. I'd much rather avoid TRU altogether.
  5. The question is, how soon do you need it? I'd try to get it preordered at EB Games, if you can. Do you have any friends or relatives that live near one? There's a "store locator" button at the top of their website. http://www.ebgames.com/default.asp
  6. Check out the store's reputation at www.resellerratings.com. It smells of a scam, but if it's a large store that's got a good reputation, then go for it. However, the Nintendo Wii stock will be plentiful after the holidays, so you could always slip an IOU in a card if that's what this is for.
  7. Office Depot has a 50 pack of Sony DVD+R for $12.99 in-store this week. That's the out-the-door cost, no rebates.
  8. My family doesn't really have any traditions for Christmas Eve. My wife's family always gets together and makes homemade pizza for dinner, so we head to her moms and do that. We usually watch a movie after dinner.
  9. No doubt. I don't think there's a camera in this price range that can beat it.
  10. The t-shirts are nice. I'm sure the people asking for hoodies will be very happy.
  11. How much are you looking to spend...or was that one adequate?
  12. For new games, your best bet is to get them at WalMart or wait until they've been out a little bit for a price drop. I buy all of my games either pre-owned or on clearance, though.
  13. Do you have any specific games you are looking for? Many times overstock.com has good prices. Circuit City runs great sales on video games, especially those that have been out a while. Watch their ads to see when they are doing it.
  14. One for my wife and probably one for my son, this year. He was only 4 months old last year, so he got some gifts, but stocking stuff didn't really make sense.
  15. If it's something large, I'll ask my parents to keep it at their place, since they live in the town I work in. Otherwise, I'll keep it in my office. I usually pay for gift wrap, so I don't often have to hide things.
  16. Are you asking for a knife block set? Chicago Cutlery is probably the absolute best value when buying knife sets. Here's a large set for $149 -$25 Coupon to make it $124.: http://www.amazon.com/Chicago-Cutlery-Insignia2-18-Piece-Sharpener/dp/B000H6VH1S/sr=1-18/qid=1160490245/ref=sr_1_18/102-8700548-1333733?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen Those are the one's I use for everyday stuff. They are very good and hold an edge for quite a while. I have a nicer set of knives that I use for preparing foods when I am having a party or serving a large group, but those are never really on sale. I'm not very good at sharpening with the included sharpener, so I got one if these: http://www.amazon.com/OZITECH-Diamond-Fingers-knife-sharpener/dp/B000F8SIOW/sr=1-2/qid=1160490412/ref=pd_bbs_2/102-8700548-1333733?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden
  17. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB for $94.99 shipped from Newegg.
  18. Looks like that's only the Snowflake Folies print. All others are still $16.99.
  19. I gifted my sister a 6-month Netflix membership a little while ago, since she was having surgery and was unable to work for 3 months. All they have to do is go to www.netflix.com and redeem the subscription and they are started up. To purchase a subscription, go here: http://www.netflix.com/GiftPurchase
  20. The headset Brad linked is the one I use for Skype, and it's excellent. Here's a cheaper option, that's not USB: Altec Lansing Headset A cheap USB option would be to use a Playstation USB headset as recommended by Scott in this thread: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=46726
  21. How much do you spend on them? An iTunes gift card or something similar could be nice.
  22. Here are two excellent choices that are feature-packed and very good quality: Canon A540 - $172.94 shipped Canon A530 - $135.49 shipped
  23. Add to that durability and long-term quality. Both of which I have consistently found lacking in Kodak cameras.
  24. Maybe a nice sweater or something like that? Possibly a _____ of the month club, so the item is delivered to her monthly.
  25. Wow, great deal! I didn't know they sold Playstations.
