Overstock doesn't typically allow coupons to be stocked, especially with referal coupons. If you click through a referal link with a % off coupon, the discount will show up when you go to check out. Oh, and GottaDeal has a good selection of Overstock.com coupons. It's the first item of it's type that Microsoft has ever sold. They are going all out to grab their share of the market while people are looking to spend those Christmas / year-end bonuses. I played with one at Circuit City, and it was nice, but not earth-shattering. I still liked the Creative Zen Vision: M better than the Zune. The screen was nicer, IMO, on the Creative and the menu system was easier to use. I haven't seen the new iPod videos with the updated LCD, so I can't speak to their quality.

Overstock.com is going to be your best bet for a deal anytime soon. The 360 is still the latest offering from MS, so unless they decide to give us a price drop, I don't believe we'll see any significant deals before Christmas.

Pre order Pirates of The Carribbean 2 @ Amazon.com only $14.99

Ordered ours...and I've got to agree that widescreen is better. You lose almost 1/3 of the picture when it's cut down to letterbox. -
That's gotta hurt! No candy here, we were out of town for the day and Luke didn't go trick-or-treating, so our teeth will survive another year. It is nice that our 6 month teeth cleaning appts fall 2 weeks after Halloween.

Now I've only got 2 people left. :) I plan to be done before BF, so I can enjoy the day and not worry about missing the gifts for people.

A brad nailer and a small compressor would be perfect for putting up molding and other similar small projects. Harbor Freight would be a good place to find those items, but this Sears one would be more than adequate.

That air compressor would not be great for a framing nailer, but would do fine for a brad nailer / finishing nailer. For any consistent use for nailing, I'd get a more powerful pancake compressor.

The tool chests and air compressors are excellently priced. I'm considering Sears as my first store, consider that I can use both of those items....I just hope we find the truck we're looking to buy first. :)

That would make it worth it for us. Both my wife and I wear their clothes.

I wonder if they will be giving out the gift cards this year.
mrn8 replied to happysunshine28's topic in 2006
It is $10 gift cards to the first 200 customers to enter through the merchandise pick-up entrance. Make sure you wait at the correct door, or you will not get the GC. -
Looks like there's a lot of good stuff in there. The 3-gallon air compressor, prelit christmas trees, and some of the hand tools may make it a good destination. They are still doing $10 gift cards for the first 200 customers, too.
-
That would be quite a drive. We used to live in that area, too. :)

The DS Lite only plays DS games and GB Advance game packs. The SP will play the original Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

Where in IL? The Pleasant Prarie, WI Prime Outlet mall is literally just over the IL/WI border off of I-94.

The PS2 and PSP are supposed to have price drops coming soon. We'll probably see them in Nov or early Dec. The PS2 will retail for $99 and the PSP will drop to $149.

It's for their BF sale. They have a limited amount so people have to get in line pretty early for them. -
A lot of stores will run 1/2 off or 1/3 off selected inventory or time range and some stores will run hourly deals where certain items are at doorbuster prices for an hour. I am interested to see what the Banana Republic, Adidas, and UnderArmor stores run for specials.

I use my CC that gives me a little cash back.

Gift ideas for 12 year old boy ($20 limit)
mrn8 replied to ckemp7's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Beanbag lounger chair $19.99 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 - PC game - $16.98 Batman: Year One Deluxe Edition (hardcover) - $13.99 - I LOVE this book. It's the story of how Batman starts out. It was given to me (I'm 26) as a gift. I gave one to my BIL (30 years old, batman fanatic), and one to my cousin (13 years old) and they both love it. -
Depending on what you want and how long you are willing to wait outside of Best Buy, you may find a great deal this year. Last year they had a basic eMachines computer for $150 on BF. You'll need to be one of the first 5-10 people in line to get one, though. They'll hand out tickets to people in line and the first ones to claim those premium items will get them.
