From what I understand, there will be no picking up LAW on BF, so I assume that there will be no one back there to help w/ pricematching previous LAW items.

We used to have a Santa train that traveled part of the country.. it would stop in town for one night, all lit up, with skits and songs. We have a small parade in town, and a couple of larger ones in neighboring towns. I guess we have a lot going on, what with Branson being so close. But it is so commercialized that we never go. Silver Dollar City has a christmas festival, and all of the theatres have christmas shows.

Mine knows how much I spend.. he actually works O/T year round so I can shop. He says I don't gripe as much when i'm shopping. Well, now he's taken another job, with a pay cut, and his wife (that used to make $3 last a month) is having a hard time NOT shopping. I'm gonna get myself in serious trouble if I don't stop it. I just keep saying that I'll quit after BF.

my little cousin's is 12/22, and they always try to have her party around the 1st/2nd week of december because we have such large families, and everyone has to start celebrating christmas around then. She keeps everything separate. She's only 3, so she hasn't caught on yet. On the other hand, my little sister's bf (of 4 years) has a bday on 12/25. Until they started dating, he had never had a gift wrapped in anything but christmas paper. He just had his family party on christmas. He'll be 21 this year, which stinks when you have to spend it eating gross food at your soon-to-be grandmother in-law's. (and my little sis was born on TG... this year it falls on BF, so she refuses to babysit!!)

not to sound dumb, but what is a blu ray disc? I've seen it advertised lately and wondered.

I preordered from amazon on october 17.. it still isn't set to ship for 2 weeks. So, I went to Wal-mart tonight, and it was 19.96

I know it's just 2 weeks, and I'm still spending my stockpile. I keep finding such good deals, I can't pass them up. Anything that is on sale on BF isn't anything necessary, but I love to go!!!

i doubt that.. especially when they are selling them like hotcakes at $398... I can see $348.. that's about as low as I think they'll go

I had about decided on a stationery set. So she could use packer paper to mail her bets. I can't find any tablets or envelopes with the logo on them.. any ideas? I found a website with a great set, but it shows it on google, but not when you go to the store.

Thank you so much.. my daughter just turned two, and she is abnormally tall.. we've got all of her 7 year old brother's gifts, but we're having a hard time figuring out what to buy her. I wanted something they both could use.

A few years ago, we ordered from them for christmas.. not only was shipping outrageous, we didn't get most of our gifts until February. We ordered in October. And last year at work, in July, we got in a package for one of the girls. It had been backordered off of her order over a year before! She forgot she had even purchased it.

The chocolate fondue fountain is a great price!! My mom has been wanting one for years. The worst part aboout Penney's here is that the dept. store is in the mall, and the home store is across town next door to BB, which you cannot get into on BF. I never know which store items like that will be. So, I'll probably pm it somewhere else, if I can.

I would go for something positive.. self-help books, uplifting music, free psychologist sessions, subscription to online dating site.. hehe..

My uncle's mother is 86 years old and originally from Wisconsin. She is a die hard packers fan. To the point that we all have a standing bet with her.. if they win any game, we mail her a dollar, if they lose, she mails everyone else a dollar. I would like to get her some little knick knacks, keychains, or some inexpensive type of memorabilia. (she will throw a fit if I spend more than $10) Does anyone have any ideas, or is there anyone from the green bay area that might be able to pick something up at a local store? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I went to my target yesterday, and only found a handful of things with clearance tags on them... last year I got tons of costumes at 90% off.. this year all they had were t-shirts at 75%. I did score 3 elmos... I also asked about that lil' quad.. they don't even carry power wheels at the 3 stores we have here w/i 100miles. If anyone can get their hands on one for $16.00, I'll pay all shipping costs and paypal you the $$.

how awesome!! my husband knows a little about my scrapbooking, but not enough to buy my gifts.. I like to buy my things at joanns and michaels though.. a lot cheaper when they run the sales.
