In many states, this could be a legal case of false advertisement... Especially if the manager acknowledges it's screwed up.

I wanted a few of the FAR items (mainly the computer vacuum), but I didn't feel like wandering the store looking for it, while trying to not disturb the people in line for checkout... Maybe if they managed their BF sale items better...

If you need to reformat your harddrive (return it to original settings) for ANY reason, when you first turn on the computer, keep hitting the F8 button until the screen shows your how to reformat the harddrive... This is only on HP/Compaq though

Absolutely correct in my opinion.. All of this keeps getting said over and over on these websites, as well as on cable news shows, but the people down in Arkansas just don't seem to understand what they're doing wrong this year.. I guess they just don't care enough to actually listen...

I've experienced this quite a bit as well.. Each associate had a different answer for the same questions... They all kept telling me to wait in line at a register just to see if they had things in stock/etc and i could checkout then pick it up later.. I felt that was a bunch of crap, so I had to go searching for everything myself... Finally, an associate came up to me and said "Can I help you find something?" and I started yelling about how noone there could help an elephant find its butt, and walked away.

Years ago, My mother and I went searching for a Pokemon bed-set and "Pokedex" on BF, and Target gave us rainchecks because they were out... Though they never got them in again..

I don't understand why CC is so bad at checkout.. I've noticed the systems they use are a little outdated compared to BB and others, but they still should be quick.. It seems alot of times the workers are also really bad at using the register.. Maybe if the older stores didn't have such a horrible Register layout? Having them placed randomly throughout the store in my opinion is a BAD idea. It clogs up the entire store on busy days...

I don't have Sear's ad near me, but if it looked as if Ice Age 2 was on sale for 5.99, why not try to PM it for 5.99 at walmart?

From what I noticed, WalMart didn't do too well either.. They lost alot of online sales when their site crashed... That would have been a HUGE amount of business from all over the country.. And the WalMarts I went into on BF weren't very busy at all for it being Black Friday..

I had my ads out while waiting in line, and I can't tell you how many times I was asked to see the ads for the store I was at, because SO MANY people just showed up, not knowing what was on sale..

The CC near me was only allowing one ticketed-item per person this and last year. I think it's rediculous that people would be able to get a bunch of the doorbusters for themselves... "I had to take out a loan with the bank so I can buy all the doorbusters they have and resell them on eBay, but it's okay because I can afford it. Screw everyone else in the world".

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is always my day for actual mall shopping (mainly Clothing that's on sale)

I have a feeling this years BF is going to be a disaster... The deals weren't as good as years before, but there are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people already waiting in line everywhere... I love the crowds, but I have a feeling tomorrow is just going to be rediculous compared to the past... The whole publicity BF has been getting this year has really worked for the retailers, I guess.

I can never find an unlocked connection at Best Buy or Circuit City... If only I knew the codes for the hotel networks, or the store networks

I don't really understand why people would buy poultry products from WalMart.. It just doesn't seem right to me for some reason.. I guess I prefer places that don't use all pre-packaged Tyson products..

I usually send mine about the 1st week of December.. But this year I'm sending mine out tomorrow, because I'm including a necklace that supports AIDS prevention/awareness, and is used as a sign of anti-discrimination towards gays.. December 1st is world AIDS day, so I'm hoping everyone I send it to will wear it next Friday :)

On a busy holiday week like this, managers are sure to change around ALOT. So just because one manager helped you out, doesn't mean another one will... Just to let you know.. I've been hassled many-a-times at this, and just about every BB in STL.

I'm so excited that it's going to be in the upper 30's/lower 40's this year while camping out at Circuit City... Last year it got down to 13... It's going to feel like summer compared to last year!

I'm pretty sure most of what you just said was untrue. WalMart doesn't always have 100's of each doorbuster... That's ludacris. Like last years laptop, they only had about 15 per store. Last year BB had alot of their Doorbuster items online in the middle of the night before BF, but it turned out to be a fluke.. They were taken off the site after about an hour. And, the minimums of each item per store are on each of the ads.

I hate grumps as well.. Every year I hear people in long lines saying "Why aren't they (the store) more prepared for this?? I'm never shopping here again" blah blah, even though EVERY register is open, including extra ones on carts.. Though, I find it odd when I see SO MANY people in line at places like BEst Buy (where the checkout lines go through the entire store) buying things that aren't even on sale...
