I have been a big fan of the BB warranty for years. I have had very little problems with the stuff I have gotten from BB buy the few times I have had to use it they have always been helpful in repair or replacing the product. The warranty company they us is AIG and it is one of the best on the world. All of the hight ticket items I get from BB I get the warranty.

...and about 2 hours before the doors open they send out BB workers for you to sign up for the BB credit card.

Black friday Deals Available online? or Just Physical Stores?

It is hard to say if they will do a price match. The reason is that Best Buy closes all of there return and customer service desk until 12 noon so they can be used to check out people. Also some of the BB doorbuster items are not regular stock items. Alot of times they will strike a deal with emachines for example and order 500,000 of a computer that they will offer for BF and the SKU and UPC code will be different from the everyday stock. The reason they do this is that when they strike the deal they will put less RAM into the desktop so you will have to buy more RAM and so you cant price match.

The Toy Book was in the Dallas Morning News this morning.
-
All you need to go is to click on "Weekly Ad" at the top of the site, put in your zip code and you will see the holiday book along with the weekly ad for your area.
-
Just as a reminder that Best Buy closes there customer service desk so they can use the registers to check out people. Also this is so they wont price match BF items. BB also has been known to offer desktops and laptops as BF items that are not in there normal stock. This means you cant buy it before BF and once they are out they are out of the item for good since the SKU and UPC codes are different and not part of there everyday stock.

Anyone think of doing price adjusting at BestBuy?
bigjimslade replied to falling5tarr's topic in 2006
Most of the Best Buys close there customer service desk between 5am and 12 noon on Black Friday to use the registers to check out people. Also as Mp4 stated that most of Best Buys laptops and desktops are NOT regular stock items. They have a different SKU and UPC code then what they sell everyday. They do this so people wont price match. -
I will try to scan in the highlights. The holiday book is over 70 pages long. Yes. If you are a RZ member or a BB credit card holder and you opt in to get mail from BB you get mailings.
-
The book comes in the mail. You have to be on there mailing list and the way you do that is to join the Reward Zone program. It is free! http://www.myrewardzone.com/

Just to give everyone the heads up that the BB Holiday book has shipped and I got mine today. Look in the front of the book because it has some RZ coupons.

Do you think that "Gottadeal" has any influence over BF & retailers?
bigjimslade replied to abentley's topic in 2006
Companies spend alot on intelligence to keep an eye out on there competition and sites like this. For example Exxon spends millions on keep an eye on groups that are anti oil like Greenpeace and hire ex CIA, FBI and Secret Service agents to do intel on those groups, send in undercovers to spy on other oil companies and anti oil groups. Compaines have alot to lose if an ad is leaked and there competition knows what they will offer then the competition can change there plans for get more business. The site admins have a way of telling who visits the site by there IP address and domian address they are surfing from. In the end everyone here wins becuase we have the freedom to choose what store we go to and wont have to worry about running a big company like Best Buy. -
I will be in Dallas at the Park Lane store near Northpark Mall on US 75 and NW Highway
