I just got the BB ad in the early Sunday paper of the Dallas Morning News. Nothing really pops out at me as far as savings. They are running no interest for 18, 12 or 6 months on some items. They do have an ad in there ad about Windows Vista. It looks like you get a free upgrade to Vista by mail if you buy a Vista ready PC from BB. I hope this helps.

Good luck and welcome to the community! -
Welcome to the community! I would say the first thing you do is to make friends in line with the people around you. If you need to use the rest room ask around and say "Do you mind if I go use the restroom while my GF stays here?". Most of the time the people will let you since you are in the same boat. If you are going to a gas station to use it then I would say offer to get anything for the people around you like a drink or donut. I have always been at the front of the line so I dont know about the limit of people they let into the store. Keep in mind that the Fire Marshall's Office could show up and limit the number of people in the building because of fire codes. Good luck!

If you are a big time gammer then the emachine is not for you. Emachines are good for business and personal use not big games. I play Simcity on mine and it does ok.

National Weather Service Thanksgiving/Black Friday Forecast Issued
bigjimslade replied to bigjimslade's topic in 2006
The low for me will be around 56 or so on Thursday night. -
Yes you can. I put them in my socks, boots and gloves last year.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has now posted the Thanksgiving Day and Thanksgiving Night forecasts. You can access them by going to http://www.weather.gov/ At the top left hand corner you can type in your zip or city and the forecast for your area will come up. Or you can click on the map in the middle of the page. Each weather service office updates the forecasts every 4 hours or so during non severe weather period so bookmarking the site might be helpful. The NWS is the lead and official forecasting agency for the US and provides forecasts to weather channel and other outlets. I hope this helps and hope the weather is good in your area!

I would assume that people have already came in and asked and I know talking from a friend of mine who is a regional manager for BB and he says that the corporate intelligence people for Best Buy have been monitoring this site and other sites and emails have been sent from the top down to the stores telling them to protect there BF stock and not to price match.
-
If they will be showing the story on Wednesday night and all over the holiday then that means this site will be jumping on Wednesday night. I hope Brad ups the server load.
-
Amen! Pass the plate.

WM wants to be sure no product gets out on the sales floor or number of product gets leaked to the public.

I do 100%. I am seeing myself spending alot of time on here but it will be worth it because my family will get what they want.

Would it be okay to ask people in line what they're getting?
bigjimslade replied to thaimonkey's topic in 2006
Getting to know the people in line around you is the best thing you can do. It will pass the time but if you ask the questions right you can see what they are after so you can modify your plans if you need to. It is called human intel. -
