Yes. You have two types of people that hit BB website on Thanksgiving. 1. People who want to see the BF ad 2. People who are shopping It just brings the servers to a grind. I know in years past community members who thought they got the doorbusters online got emails a week later saying that the money will be refunded because they oversold. To be it is not worth it.

You are not allowed to do in store pick up for BB BF specials on the web. They will ship the items to you which you will have to pay for. Make sure you have a great internet connection if you do this. BB's site is known to crash on Thanksgiving and on BF. Also dont be too mad if you dont get your item. BB site sometimes get so overloaded they oversell.

It has been in the news reports that most of the stores will have less inventory as it lowers there debt risk. So the law of supply and demand will come into play big time this BF.

Some stores do charge a restocking fee.

WM got mad last year because there ad was leaked on the internet and got alot of news media. Because of that WM had un-published sales that you can only find out about on there website or during the Dallas Cowboy Game on thanksgiving day. To my understanding they were crap items.

To my knowledge what is in the text files is everything that was in the ad. Maybe Brad can chime in on it. I think you will be safe to get there around 4 or so local time if you go to a office store. Most people who will buy computers will go to BB, CC, WM, Frys and CompUSA. I dont know if you know this or not but one of the main reasons BB is very popular is NO rebates. All of the other stores have rebates and you may have to deal with the rebates.

I dont see the list as being very big. When you camp put there for 24 plus hours you will need that to kinda be comfy.

You also have to remember that this year the store are not stocking up this year so you may want to be in line before 4pm this year on Thursday. Laptops and desktops are always a popular item. This year there will be a big supply and demand issue.

Yes. In years past BB has offered a e-machine between $150.00-$200.00. My first BF I got one for around $150.00 and that was 5 years ago.

The BB ad is leaked around the end of Oct start of Nov. Last year it was leaked Nov 9. With that said BB officially released there ad the Monday before BF so that is why the lines formed early and got big. The general public got to see the ad early and got more time to plan. The lowest price I have seen at the office stores are around $400.00-$500.00. Dont hold me to this as I am going from memory. From your profile it looks like you are in a big city. I would say 7pm on Thursday will be too late. I would say from the trends from the last few years and my own exprinces that 7pm on Thursday will be too late. I would say that if you get there by 6am on Thursday you might have better luck. I would BB would do the ticket system like BB and other stores. I talked to a WM manager who is a friend of mine and showed him this treated but he said that WM does not care too much because they will get the money no matter who buys. I think that is a sad statement but I am not shocked to hear that.
