Only in this laptop, because the games you are limited to with a 1.5GHz processor can't make use of memory above 1gb. But stick an extra GB in your higher end laptop or desktop and you will see a HUGE difference in video intense games (BF2 or Q4 for example.) Of course having the a8n-sli premium and dual gf6600gt's helps a little too :)

be better off waiting for the upgrade (or version 2.0) after they fix the power supply overheating issues so you don't have to suspend the thing in midair to get it to play more than 15 minutes at a time. (along with all the other little issues it has right now) I'd get one to sell it on ebay, but best buy is not the only store getting them on the 18th. Taking a risk there if that is the only reason to buy it. The demand will be MUCH less after the 18th, since a lot of people won't be able to afford the $400-$800 that close to christmas, having done most of their shopping already.

My target has no restocking fee, Circuit city is the only store I can think of that has a restocking fee here (more and more online stores are starting to do this however) Walmart only allows 3 returns in a year with no receipt. That is why they take your d/l #....tracking. As more people try and screw walmart, it seems to be getting harder to return things. They are starting (better) training programs for anybody that might ever work the service desk. The main problem is the wrong item in the box. My brother just put a bad video card (2 years old) in an older wireless router box that WM still sells, they only gave him store credit, but that's ridiculous. The internet is just sitting there, dying to give you info! Chances are, if you are looking at buying a high $ item, there's a messageboard/forum that have people's experiences, good or bad. If nothing else, theres always somebody that knows which comparable items are better than the next, from a technical aspect (not just opinion)

Don't get the adapter called "Advanced gameport" it only allows you to use your gamecube controller with the GBA screen. The TRU employees will have no idea about it. The real one is $37 at least, anywhere. Made by nintendo.

If you read the ad, most of the high $$ ones are going for that much because they come with 1 year gold xbox live and a certain amount of games (between 3 and 15)

After being told for the last week there were around 80 laptops by 4 different employees, (1 being my sister the csm who physically counted them) they brought out 14 at 5am! 14! hmmm wonder where all those laptops ran off to.

ditto. Target was the best place for me for the third year in a row now, very organized. They even had a barrier of carts to form a line that stopped all the people thinking they would just walk up the the front at 6am. BTW Good luck with the XBox, been hearing nothing but horror stories for the last 3 days. If you have any problems google xbox 360 ripoff ....lots of forums people offering help.

If your store is a 24 hour WM, there will be a line in front of each palatte. They don't shut the store down and make you line up outside.

Just make sure you ASK what type of ram you need if you are going to upgrade later/somewhere else. There are about 12 different kinds of ram and only 1 type will fit in there. most likely pc2700 or pc2100

yeah, palettes wrapped up until 5 am, my store (sister is a csm there) says they have no plans to pass out tickets, but they will tell everybody what is on which palette. 5 am, an associate unwraps the palette and let the elbows fly!

walmart is open 24/7 every day of the year except christmas day, I know mine is going to be open, my sister has to go in to work at 2am to help with in store crowd control. No the governor has no authority to shut down a store. (unless of course he declares a state of emergency, BF may qualify for this :lol )

I was wondering which to get for my wife, I talked to my mother (who makes her living sewing, she has about 30 grand in machines) and she said if you plan to use it on a weekly basis or sew anything heavy (jeans, denim that type of thing) go ahead and spend 100-150 more and get a singer or even kenmore from sears. Remember, you get what you pay for.

for 25 bux, the kit is definitely worth it. Just for the ease of use, it comes with the usb connector and the pc software. Would be good for agerange 6-11 probably because they don't really care about quality yet. but then again, video now just came out with pc software that will let you burn your own pvp discs (the format that video now players use) so that may be the way to go for the near future. ($15 for the software and 3 blank discs @ target)

This means on BF you will get the 378 price, after the sale it will go up to 488 if there are any left. It should also mean you can get the laptop TODAY for 488, but I doubt they put them out.

LOL I get both ads! put in zip 68666 and click York nebraska store 3 ads come up "friday only specials" which has the higher prices "more electronics specials, Only in stores friday nov.25" which has all the lower prices CHECK YOUR WALMART ZIP CODES! the ad I get that says 5-11 am is ALL the lower prices. The ad that has the higher prices says Nov 21 -Nov 25. Which means, after 11 am the laptop goes up if there are any left. BTW there is NO competition within 65 miles of york in ANY direction. So there are other factors involved.
