My worst black friday experience has always been the day after..no sleep, all the excitement..I always ended up with a horrible migraine. Now I have a new tradition..I take medicine before I go to sleep and when I first wake up!! I spend pretty much the whole day drugged, but at least I can still function!

same here..usually go for the $25. I feel like i am wasting points if I go lower..i love it though!! AND I never include my gift card amounts (that I got for free) when telling my hubby how much I spent!! (I never claimed to be a good wife )

one year the canoe was the present!! ok a kayak but my husband built it for my little girl and didn't tell me either. he worked on it in his parents messy basement that we never went in. he was gone for some silly reason or another so often I actually jokingly asked him if he was having an affair!!

that is too funny.. i will have to let my zoe know that there is another one running around!! mine is 6 years old..the name zoe started to become really popular about a year after I had her..used to be really hard to find the personalized necklaces and such!! now we know quite a few! no other zoe maries though.

i totally agree that someone should make sure that the line crashers are held back..that is so annoying. i also think that people should be more friendly that day (on both sides of the counter!)

My little girl LOVES this stuff. So far she has only had it at grandma's house but I did pick up the pack at the TRU sale saturday for christmas. I belive it is an outside toy but that is just me. Just remember to brush it out of her clothes and not take a wet cloth to it because it will stain. It is great fun though.

layer your clothes..it may be cold in standing in line but you will soon want to shed some of them. be organized so you can get in get out and get on with it be nice...to other shoppers (yes even when they are crazy) and especially to the poor souls on the other side of the counter

zoe goes through the big toy book and circles the things she wants, sends a letter to santa with her "order" (that's what she has called it for 2 years now) so we get her some things off her list...this year she is getting chitty chitty bang bang tickets though..she doesn't even know it is coming!! it is her favorite movie and it is part of our local broadway series..so she will probably get a fancy dress to go with them.

I am lucky to not be working outside the home this year!! But my husband and little girl give me the day off..I stay thursday night with my mamma and usually call my little girl around lunch time..but she spends the whole day with daddy and lets me shop until the nighttime!!

white is no good...i can just see the coffee stains now!! i voted blue..not really a pink kind of girl!!

we do this too...usually coupons for a couple of games..last year the polly coupons were around...between me, my mom and my sister we had tons of pollys. we are actually using them as favors for my little girls birthday in a few weeks!! also batteries...usually on sale and you can almost always find coupons.

I am a mean girl...if you don't bring breakfast with you..you starve! We stop to eat around 11..before then we just bring snacks in the car.

thursday is always a planning day with two papers..one is very organized and hole punched for the binder..the other is for whoever to look through..last year my sisters boyfriend picked up the punched ad and everyone started yelling "No put it back!!" then they told him i would've freaked out if I saw that!! Maybe that is what ran him off this year!!!

i always have a plan for early day..but then we do some strolling at random places after lunch..we usually eat out lunch and dinner..good girl time!!

30 for me includes 1 aunt (and none of my 7 uncles i am a terrible person, what can I say), a few cousins, immediate family, inlaws, teachers, 2 friends and 1 of their moms, and a couple of kids that are kinda adopted family (my aunt has them 95% of the time) then i shop for my sister who HATES to shop she has 18 last year I also wrapped her stuff..she was as suprised as the person she got the gift for!! i always give her the list but she really doesn't care...i even do most of the shopping for her son!! i took care of his birthday with the 75% off target sale.

we leave the house no later than 4 and usually don't get home until 8 or 9 that night. my sister went last year and we had to bring her home at around 4 that afternoon so hopefully she will be driving herself this year. my mom can usually hang although she is exhausted!!

I am starting school in a few weeks to teach. Summers off, black friday off..the things that really sold me. I love black friday!! I usually try not to think about it until mid september after my little girls birthday but may be happy for the distraction this year as I am sending my only child to kindergarten in 2 days and have been the verge of a full-fledged panic attack for weeks now!!
