I agree..the thought of spending precious time in a layaway line makes me cringe...

I just want a new stereo actually as mine has been hijacked to my husbands studio..I can live without tv but music no way!

I do this with clearance toys also. Always ready for that birthday party my husband tells me about at the last minute!

The price matching is still a great thing..mine walmart is 24 hours too so no waiting in outside!

I love this! My mom asks me all the time what I am stalking at target this week. I love Target..I go through periods where I will stop in everyday! Just check for those orange tags though and out the door!

My husband would rather have his nails pulled out than go with me. One year I had to go get my own christmas present. I knew what he was going to get me and Ben Franklins (kinda like michaels) had a 50% off one item. I waited in line and got my gift and saved $75. I knew he would just pay full price. I used the extra money to buy my little girl a baby annabelle:blush:

My mom has went the last 2 years with me needing NOTHING!! Just for the sport of it! That is good for me though..I can send her where I need her or just have her hang back with the cart while I grab and toss!!

Sometimes it pays off to make a friend in line for the plastic to be cut...2 years ago they had the huge care bears for $10...I had discussed the colors I would be looking for while we waited..when one side was being cut she cut the other with her keys and care bears went flying..my mom caught the 3 that I needed and we were off!

We are usually out the door no later than 4 oclock.

I was able to go at my own pace to get all my price matched items (only things you had to wait for was the Gameboy sps, laptops, and portable dvd players.). I forgot about this last year...do you just bring the ads to the checkout or do you go to customer service?

OH! Last year...I was sooo excited to get to wal-mart..I had got my wallet and cell phone (we always have troopers stationed everywhere..lol) on my lap and my purse on my shoulder...I got out of the car...went inside..got everything I was looking for and was in line within 15 minutes of opening (hours after standing in line of course) got ready to pay only to realize I did not have my wallet. I went to see if it was in the car while my mom manned the cart to find it outside right beside the car door after almost barfing right there in the parking lot I quickly went in and paid for my things!!! SHHH my husband doesn't know!!

I am from Indiana.. I love love love Black Friday!! It is my second favorite holiday!! I am a Stampin' Up! demo and a mommy. I have a real job too but I don't like to talk about that!! I can't wait for those ads!!

I agree breakfast will only slow me down...I have a strict policy that if you MUST eat then you cannot shop with me! LOL.. Pretzels in the car in case of emergancy.
