My sil just called me and asked if I saw Walmarts announcement on the news today....I did not, hopefully someone else here can verify... she said that Walmart stated since they lose so much money on BF that they are offering a lot of items at BF prices right now (I just posted about my lucky pricing with a LAW yesterday). No mention of midnight owl specials on the newsbradcast... anyone with further info? proof? disproof?

Ok, I thought it was a typo on the text list....and the pic ad says 'everyday low price', but I've seen several times now that Scene It will be free.....does anyone have any further info on HOW it's free??? Is it a rebate? A purchase-with-purchase thing???

I never did it at Walmart, but I did try in at Kmart last year for one of those 'one day only toy specials'....went back that morning, early, and not only was my hidden stash gone, so were all the special items that day maybe I just need to find better hiding spots lol

COOL! Lucky me!! I never even would have thought I'd get the BF NOW...day before, ya maybe...but cool!

So I figured I was going to be a smartie pants and went to Walmart today and put the rest of what my kids want on LAW. I made sure to take my list of items I knew were going to be BF priced and double checked on getting the price match on BF and the LAW hours. A lot of the games and movies are not the same packaging as what's advertised for BF, so I knew those wouldn't work for PMing. I came home and was now making myself a list of what I have on LAW and what the prices will be on BF....I got all those prices already!!! I put Scene It and the FP I Can Play Piano on LAW and I just checked my LAW print out...it's got the BF prices already!!! Now I know these aren't door busters by any stretch...but the BF ad states it's a roll back on the piano (normally $75 down to $65). I'm pretty sure I read the text ads somewhere that said Scene It would be on sale (can't remember where right now) Did I just get lucky on the piano thing? Or is the rollback supposed to be now??

same here princess! I start out at Walmart, then do Meijer, then to the mall for Target, Old Navy, all the others...then after lunch we head out to Kmart, Big Lots, etc

TRU just had a promo where you got the dance pad for free with the purchase of the game...

Old Navy does have door busters! Last year I got a 2 piece 'jump suit'? for $20 (normally each piece $17.99), rolled gift blankets $5, clearance prices are AWESOME and they also do 'lucky in line'...whoever is in line and has a package of tissues in their purse/pocket gets a discount card...whose buying 8 items, get discount card, etc we are getting a Kohl's here next year...looking forward to that since I've seen so many people mention that one

Line cutters and spot savers are really bad, and get worse every year. I've heard the "all these stupid people out here" comments before and it's one of those 'huh?' moments cause they're there too! lol I REALLY hate the people who must have gotten up late so they are in a hurry to park and don't even look when they are driving around the lines of people...the people behind us last year almost got hit!

The ONLY thing the ads have made me happy about is that I've already gotten most of my shopping done! The few items I've been waiting to buy for my boys aren't in ANY of the ads, so I guess I'll go get them and be done. I was planning on still going out just for the rush and people watching, but at this point, I don't know if I want to even do that. VERY disappointed this year

For the most part I agree....however, if Walmart has 8 things that I want, at the price I am willing to pay, and Target has ONE thing I want at a better price, then since Walmart is willing, I will do the PM.

This is our first year with a Super Walmart, last year we got to our regular Walmart around 2:30 and were about the 100th in line...oh ya, it was about 2 degrees outside too I have NO idea whatsoever how it will work this year with the Super Walmart, and calling hasn't helped at all either

I don't know anything about the ones being offered (haven't really paid attention to the ads), but I bought one on BF 2 years ago and it is still the BEST thing I've gotten in a LONG while! It's a Polaroid with a 7" screen. We've taken it in the car, on a plane, to dance practice, even use it when one kid wants to watch something and the others are gaming on the tv. NEVER had a problem with it, still works great...youngest is using it right now in fact. Easy to operate.

$50 Walmart $5 Target wish I had more!

I have 3 boys, ages 8 1/2 and 11...they don't like regular legos, but LOVE Bionicles! Also, the light sabres are still cool. There is a coupon in the TRU thread (I think it's the online deals?)for a coupon that's only good this weekend for a scooter WITH helmet for $14.99, that would be good too.

I really hope Walmart has better things in store for us, cause TRU's ad blow chunks too! I also got Scamps last weekend and actually started to think that if they are selling it this cheap NOW, I wonder what kind of deal it'll be on BF...none I guess
