  1. Which one is better the WalMart $198 or this one? If it was offered online I would go for it but I live in the boonies and would have to travel two hours to a Best Buy and that's not happening.
  2. The only thing my daughter wants is a laptop so I am waiting for Black Friday. Not to mention, I love Black Friday!!!!
  3. Consider it done! Five stars and a comment to boot!

    All Lanes Open

Ours were all open this morning, my son and I ran up so he could get the HP printer for college. I picked up some jeans for DH for work. But I know yesterday when I got on line they said Rustler were a secret sale item for $5.00 as I sat right there and read it to my DH but this morning they rang up $7.50 and I came home to check the site and it said $7.50, I know they changed that price. Grrr! But $7.50 is still a good price and they are only for work so if DH is OK with it, I am too. But still......
  5. I think I'm staying home. There is nothing worth getting up early for, I am so disappointed. Nintendo DS was one major thing I was hoping to see marked down and it is just listed for regular price. I think if they are hoping that Black Friday gives them a boost in sales they are wrong!
  6. Unless Wal-Mart has a fantasic flyer, I get to sleep in. Nobody has anything that is jumping out at me. DH and I are going away for a weekend to Christmas shop the week after Black Friday so I am hoping if they poor sales for Black Friday they might be offering some nice ones that weekend to make up for it.
  7. I am looking for a deal on Nintendo DS but all the ads so far have not impressed me. Black Friday prices are the same price as Wal-Mart has them right now.
  8. I am also pretty sure that is who it was too, as I had just checked my posts and found her. Mugglesmom it is!
  9. I would like to see Nintendo DS in an ad this year. What do you think my chances are?
  10. My plans, well let's see, I am 20 minutes from Wal-Mart BUT if they don't drop this whole "we are suing thing" then I am traveling 2 hours to go to Target!!!!!
  11. Found this article online on one of my local TVnews pages: Head Online For Early 'Black Friday' Peek Sites Posting Ads Early Despite Retailer Crackdown POSTED: 7:16 pm EDT October 18, 2007 Sales planned for the day after Thanksgiving are already popping up on many Web sites. But at least one retailer, Wal-Mart, has reportedly threatened to sue several Web sites that leak its big "Black Friday" deals. The day after Thanksgiving has traditionally become known as "Black Friday" because of its huge potential for retailers to grow holiday season revenue and thus cross over from operating "in the red" to "in the black." A successful "Black Friday" promotion could make a huge dent into a holiday sales goals for major companies. Consumers often benefit with massive sales that may start as early at 5 a.m. but last only a few hours. Major retailers generally do not release their "Black Friday" sales list until much closer to the day after Thanksgiving. But in recent years, certain Web sites have posted the deals online as early as October. Gottadeal.com bills itself as an official Black Friday deal site. If you go to the site now and click on "Black Friday," you will already find sales information for two retailers: Ace Hardware and Harbor Freight. The site even offers an e-mail sign-up to alert you of new "Black Friday" deals when they are posted. Plus, the site touts more than 130,000 online members who post sales comments on its message boards. *********.com is another site that offers a sneak peak at "Black Friday" deals into addition to other sales information. By searching for "Black Friday" information now, you'll find deals posted for Sears and Ace Hardware that are "rumored." In fact, the Sears link also has a statement that reads, "Possibly not a true ad due to some non-existent items." Harbor Freight's "Black Friday" ad is listed as well. This site also offers e-mail sign-up and coupons.
  12. AquaDots are a big seller here in PA where I'm at. In fact, Wal-Mart can't keep them on the shelves, they even reduced their price from $24.97 to $16.88. This is one tactic I have heard mentioned on the radio. Stores are going to offer price cuts on items throughout the Christmas buying season not just on Black Friday to keep people coming in. Anyone else hear this?
  13. Wow how cool, Congrats. Yes, did you get everything you wanted? Update us, please!
  14. I bought a Chloe but am having second thoughts on giving it to my DD. Racerfan- I pm'ed you! Are you still lurking on here? I am giving Racerfan the first chance at my Bratz doll but if she doesn't want it, I will sell it to anyone for just cost and shipping. Alot of people have them listed on Ebay already. Someone actually has Yasmin listed for $94.99. I think that's a bit much for a $20 Doll.
  15. I am new to this site this year and I thought it was ran really good. I do agree that if some price comparison per store on some major items be put up that would be great. I was looking for portable dvd players this year and I live in NW PA where I am no where near a Best Buy, Target, Circuit City and such but if I had a price comparison with Wal-Mart and all the other stores and seen that one out beat another I just might travel somewhere to get a deal. IKWIM! Thanks for everything you all did this year. You have alot of time invested in this site and it shows. Kelly
