  1. Which one? I hear the Storm isn't as great as advertised. The hubs has the Curve because of work, otherwise he'd have a regular old phone. Verizon charges extra for the Blackberry plan also - 30 bucks a month.
  2. Haven't heard anything about it, though they have been running more QPC commercials here.
  3. I don't see it on the website either. Can you try logging into the site and trying to upgrade, and see what happens? Stuff like this, it's best to go into the store and deal with it.
  4. Hrm. The mall next to my office has Macy's, Nordie's, Nieman's and Bloomie's.
  5. I went to the Auto Show (in San Francisco and San jose) and Toyota was giving away free reusable bags. They were the only ones though.

  7. Ugh, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about - there was this older lady that sat out in front of my old apartment and wore one of these every day, I just can't think of the correct google term. They're square, almost silky sometimes, a pattern, you fold it in half, the large part of the fold is in the front of your head, the point goes toward the back.
  8. I've seen them on the clearance table at Macy's lately, but I haven't been paying attention to the price.
  9. Amazon White Glove Service: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?ie=UTF8&nodeId=510066&qid=1231949858&sr=1-2
  10. What do you want on the desk? A hutch? Lots of drawers? A big working area? The office stores usually have a selection of "cheap" desks. In my imaginary scrapbook/craft room in my head (since I don't have the extra room), I actually envisioned just a long table or one of those plain desks with no drawers. That way I couldn't stash stuff in the drawers, and force myself to clean it off to do anything. Any items would have to be stored away in it's proper place.
  11. I hate lugging them around too. I have a friend getting married in May, but she didn't want them. I might need to craigslist them. Pretty much April - September is high season. Some places will give you a discount in October. If you consider a Friday night or Sunday wedding, the price does go down quite a bit, especially if you do not have to get married in a church.
  12. Find someone who got married recently - believe me, they will have wedding magazines to get rid of. I have about 6 sitting underneath a side table in my apartment because I have nowhere else for them, and can't really ship them - they are RIDICULOUSLY heavy. The best way to get deals on wedding services is to negotiate for them. What kind of wedding do they want? Are you going to have services in a church? Outside? Reception in your home? When the couple has an idea of what they want to do, start checking out the wedding websites for suggestions, but believe me, all their suggestions are expensive. There is always theknot.com and weddingbee.com. Ask if you have any questions - there are a few members here, including myself, that got married recently!
  13. Is this it? http://www.amazon.com/AeroGrow-AeroGarden-Ultimate-Kitchen-Gardener/dp/B001LQPQTC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_12?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1230884970&sr=8-12 99 bucks plus 9.95 for shipping. There was another version on sale for 99 with free shipping a week or two ago.
  14. I don't think I've ever received a coupon from them. I'm on their mailing list and all they send me are sale notices.
  15. It really depends on the individual store. Some may do it. Some may not. It's always worth a try.
  16. According to my sister, half zip pullover performance fleece were only 5 bucks today.
  17. If it is bundled 2/20, if you buy it separate, you are charged at regular price. Because your coupon was a free item, it charged one item at regular price. It won't combine the two coupons and the sale. Now if you bought 2 of the items and brought a third one up to the register, then you'd get the third one for free. I had bought 10.00 of antibacterial soap during their last sale, used the coupon, and got a lotion for free. They didn't charge me regular price because I had purchased the minimum.
  18. No, you can get good cameras off of Amazon. What is your price range? Do you want one that fits in your pocket? More controls?
  19. We are discussing this in the following thread in the holiday forum: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=126028 thread being moved and closed.
  20. I have the 1080i version of the TV, and it's worked pretty well for me. I have it hooked up to Direct TV with no HD, and it looks VERY good, considering I had a 20" Samsung tv for five years before this. I have the PS3 hooked up via HDMI, and the Blu-Ray looks great.
  21. No, the LG phones do not come with a headset. I've had LG phones for over four years and none of them have come with a headset. Look into getting them a bluetooth set. Motorola, Plantronics, and Scott had a cheap Jabra one in the Hot Deals forum. They fit over the ear, not in the ear.
  22. Truthfully, two isn't much of a bulk order. You're better off trying to find the best deal you can on one system, and just order two of them. Now if you needed to buy 10, that's another story. You might have been able to get a rep to help you out. With Best Buy and Circuit City no longer on commission, you'll find them pushing the warranties harder than the units. They might be able to knock off a bit (i.e. 20 bucks), but nothing significant. Discounts are a PAIN to code in at those stores, since you must get approvals. Buying a top of the line system with all the accessories? Greater leeway. Middle of the road system or basic systems? Not so much.
  23. The margin on computers is so low, it won't be easy in store.
  24. Does it have to be exact? What size is your daughter? I bought a pair that is kinda close to that - it is still adidas, they still have the fit foam, but I bought them in Kids sizing - only 25 bucks, compared to the 40 for adults. I wear a size six in women's shoes, so I'm a 4 in kids.
  25. That would bust the $50 budget though. We didn't get engaged until after 5+ years. Didn't help that we met in college and we were WAY too young to consider getting married. BEWARE. This website is FAKE. http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/312/RipOff0312547.htm If the price is too good to be true, it is.
