Best Buy, probably Thanksgiving morning. Staples: maybe 2am-ish if you want to be at the front of the line, depending on which laptop you want, if it's a doorbuster or not.

It will probably do the job, but it won't be spectacular. Just make sure you pick them up an HDMI cable (NOT MADE BY MONSTER. All cables are the same. Check out monoprice.com) for it to work the best. The difference is mind boggling. I don't see a Magnavox on the list: http://reviews.cnet.com/4321-6463_7-6646260.html http://www.netflix.com/NetflixReadyDevicesList

What happened to your port - o - potty rental?

It's like 4% instead of 2%. We could only wish it was an extra 10 in ECBs

Not having to wait at Staples on BF, if that's worth $30 to you. They're both not very fast/great processors, but then it's in this price range, it's not going to be blazing, just sufficient for basic things. Also Staples, you have to deal with the rebate, even though they make the process very simple. $30 is not a huge amount of savings, if you want something now. It's not much of a difference. I don't see the laptop on Staples website right now to check the exact specs, but it's not like you're getting a superior laptop for 30 dollars less on BF.

What should I look for in a digital camera (point and shoot)
freesia39 replied to lovebears65's topic in 2009
That's true, if Johnny were into photo editing. I get a lot of people that go "wow my camera has 12mp. It takes awesome pictures." To which I reply "hrm I took pretty awesome pictures with my 2mp camera back in the day... PEABP" (problem exists at button pusher. ) -

The upgrade in MP is not going to do you much. It allows you to print a bigger picture. You have to worry more about what the camera can and can't do, along with zoom if you take a lot of pictures from further out. -
They probably can't sell it below that price but wanted to put it in the ad to remind you they have it. Or to make you think it's on sale...

External HD for me!

ARGH so mad at myself! I went last night, they had candy, thought they'd still have it this morning... nope! All candy cleared out! However, I saw this today: http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p325/freesia39/IMG_1936.jpg and grabbed it. Inside there is a coupon for if you spend $20 you get $4 ECB's. I THINK you can combine it with $$ off coupons too, since it's not listed in the restrictions.

I got another 10 off 20 coupon in the mail for the other new CVS nearby. Good through 11/20. EDIT: My favorite of the two CVS' went to 75%. There were still Reese's PIeces left - which I love! Picked up a bag of those, and they still had other random stuff available.

Target almost always has a sewing machine on sale during Black Friday.

I headed in this morning because I saw they had Christmas cards buy 1, get 2 free. Since I had absolutely nothing in the Christmas card department, I picked up the three boxes. 3 boxes for only 3.99! Didn't get anything with RR, just mouthwash on sale, kleenex was 1.09/box after coupon, plus combined with a 50 cent off 3 boxes coupon, and some pecans for cookies I'll be backing (2.50 for the bag)
-
I kinda want the silverware. I'll have to investigate this set more.
-
The ECB concept is still pretty new here in NorCal, so the checkers are amazed by my deal hunting.
-
CVS is ridiculous slow about it, compared to Target.
-
I haven't checked, I'll check tomorrow morning.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
freesia39 replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Target will if one coupon says "Target Coupon" and the second is a manufacturer's coupon. -
42. and to be difficult, 33.

This was my option when I was living in LA and not home at Christmas. Either Chinese or go to the Jewish areas and find the Jewish delis. So... good.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009

Our dog is small (only around 7 pounds) and there wasn't much left for the little guy. Plenty of medium, large and XL costumes. I really wanted the hot dog, and there weren't any left in small! I had the choice between the pumpkin, karate master, or doctor. I went with the pumpkin. -

Woohoo, the Green Dot dollar items were 50% off, so I got some gift bags for only 50 cents each! YAY! And I picked up a costume for the dog for 6.99. -

The OP is looking for 10x optical zoom, not 10mp. For that much zoom, in that small of a package, you'll want one of the Panasonic cameras. I've heard good things about the Lumix: http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-ZS3-Digital-Stabilized-Black/dp/B001QFZMCO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1256742599&sr=8-1 10.1 MP, 12x Wide Angle optical zoom, has HD video. http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-ZS1-Digital-Stabilized-Black/dp/B001QFZMBU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1256742682&sr=8-3 10 MP, 12x wide angle optical zoom, 2.7 inch LCD. No HD Video. A Canon Option, the Canon SX200IS http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SX200IS-Stabilized-Black/dp/B001SER45Q/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1256742776&sr=8-7 12MP, 12x wide angle optical zoom, 3.0 inch LCD, HD Movie shooting. Canon SX120IS: http://www.amazon.com/Canon-PowerShot-SX120IS-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B002LITT3S/ref=dp_ob_title_ce?ie=UTF8&qid=1256742895&sr=8-20 10MP, 10.1 optical zoom, 3 inch LCD, no HD video, but uses AA batteries. -
If I lived in San Francisco and wanted to do BF, I'd actually leave the city. (I live in the burbs outside of the city.) However, if I only wanted to hit ONE store or the mall, I'd take public transit and then cab it home or make my husband pick me up later.
