  1. On the radio, I heard it was Friday and Saturday.
  2. I'm up the peninsula - I shop mainly at the Redwood City Target, and occasionally the Foster City one. I don't head that far down south unless I'm visiting my parents in SJ. They'll probably be gone by the weekend. I tried the RWC Target after work and didn't see either one there.
  3. OMG which ones did you find those at? I'd totally buy those and sock those away for Christmas for my friend's babies! Please don't say Gilroy... that's a shade too far.
  4. I didn't find ANYTHING good. I got a little dump truck/rake and a "push buttons and it makes noises" toys for my friend's kid. There really wasn't much in the under 3 year old section. A lot of stuff was still 30% in the aisles! I had to dig around the endcaps to find anything half off, and some was 75%
  5. I got myself three pairs of PJ pants for less than 10 bucks, thanks to clearance and Old Navy weekly coupon. I actually got something I NEEDED and they actually had the smaller sizes in clearance.
  6. They did a great job at Target yesterday. :)
  7. I'm coming over to your tent!
  8. It's hard to find them on sale. Best bet is to wait for a Sephora Friends and Family sale and buy then.
  9. Stuff that will never go on sale: DSLR, if I haven't purchased it by then, and lenses!
  10. Still a bit early for me, I can probably make a more accurate guess in October, when I see how the economy shapes up.
  11. Yep, the picnic blankets, where the bulk used to be. I saw interesting "containers" that I could use for my lunch (one for salad, where the dressing is kept separate) and I wanted to get it, but really didn't want to pay $3 bucks for it (I know, I'm being super cheap) but I'd definitely pay 1.50... I figure I'll check on Monday or Tuesday.
  12. Did anyone notice if the picnic items were also going on clearance, or is it just the outdoor furniture?
  13. I think the promo was only through Sunday.
  14. Even if the game is at 130, people are usually tailgating at 10am. If you were able to head out early, you'd be really tired, and tailgating and watching the game can take a lot out of you. Rivalry weekends take a lot of energy. I think I'd choose... the game. But thankfully, UCLA/USC plays on Saturday.
  15. I got myself a swimsuit. Now, to actually use the pool in our complex... With the 15% coupon, it was a nice deal.
  16. The BOGO Free Revlon was allright, but I just got makeup a week or two ago with the Cover Girl ECB deal. But the Physician's formula one isn't that bad - there are plenty of PF coupons from the Sunday paper.
  17. It goes through phases. Right now, CVS is new for us in Northern California, so we're getting decent coupons. I tried to get the Tide today, but they did not have the specific one I wanted (Tide Free) so I'll try another CVS tomorrow. Aveeno is still going. Think they will combine the Aveeno deal with the Aveeno sunblock deal?
  18. Here in the Republic of California, to force us to recycle, they charge an additional fee on cans and bottles as an incentive to return the cans to a recycling center and get your "money back." Of course, depending on the center, you don't always get the exact value you put in! And there isn't a recycling center anywhere close to me that's open on the weekend or has some sort of self-serve option, so I wind up putting mine with the recycling my building has. At least in LA, I used to give my bottles to the people who would forage through my trash through them.
  19. Woohoo free premiere package next weekend for DirectTV!!
  20. Are you going to exchange them? Or just return them? I'm not sure what happens with the ECB - last time I bought something that generated and ECB, I swapped it for another item and it wasn't a problem.
  21. This morning, I did the Cover Girl deal. It's not that great now that I think about it, but my eyeshadow is getting old and I should get a new one... 2 eye shadow - 5.49 each 1 lip gloss - 4.10 Minus: 2.00 coupon for 2 Cover Girl items Minus: 2.00 coupon on Cover Girl lip item Minus: $5 off $15 coupon OOP was like 7 dollars after tax, got $3 ECB back. Not bad overall.
  22. Get $5 ECB when you buy $15 on any Energizer batteries, Limit 3. Batteries are on sale for 5.99
  23. You can use it to buy anything. If you have not reached the limit on the deal, it will keep giving you more $3.00 coupons. Check the bottom of your receipt, and it will tell you if you reached the limit. EDIT: Oops, the Coke deal has a limit of 1 per card. So you can certainly use it to buy more coke, but you won't receive anymore ECBs.
  24. That's when I start buying magazines, greeting cards, random things I may need just so I can use the ECBs before they expire. During my lunch, I did the Dove deal: 2 - 6 packs of Dove Soap: 6.50 each 1 - Dove Body wash: 6.50 1 - Dove Deodorant: 2.50 Pretax: 21.50 Minus: 4.00/20.00 coupon Minus: 4.00 ECB Minus: 1.00 coupon on bar soap Minus: 1.00 coupon on body wash (it wasn't worth it to get a second deodorant so I could use the 1.50/2 dove deodorant coupons) OOP 13.30 after tax (sigh CA tax) but I got 10.00 ECB back. And I actually needed soap. Tomorrow, I'm going to see what qualifies for the Cover Girl $3 ECB when you buy $15 since I have a 5/15 coupon and a ton of CG coupons.
