Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2011
freesia39 replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Missoni is a major Italian fashion brand, with their signature design being the zig zag. Their clothing pieces are mostly knitwear and expensive. Target has been teaming up with designers to create a specialty line for their stores (Like Liberty of London last year, Proenza-Schouler prior years) for a limited time. Just the availability of accessible designer clothing is what drives the demand. My Target was sold out of everything. It's going on eBay for a lot more right now. The Target website crashed yesterday with everyone trying to buy their items. Seriously, if your store had stuff after 12pm, you were lucky. Some stores had lines starting at 5:30am. -
I hope to make this one, but it highly depends on the college football schedule.

Official Kohls.com Kohl's Online Coupon Code Discussion Thread
freesia39 replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
9/2-9/5 15% off online, no Kohl's charge required: THANKU15 -
Neither one is "better" just one has more storage space. I'll have to play with it more in depth, loading apps, and seeing response time. I feel overall, it can be much more snappier and responsive, but for $99 bucks, there really isn't much to complain about, except waiting for an eternity for the darn thing to turn on. It is definitely more comfortable to use (well kinda) when sitting on the couch. I don't have kids, so I can't use it as a "SHUSH ALREADY WATCH THIS" toy but I suspect it could work on husbands also.

Delivered today, using it now. The start up time on this thing is ridiculously slow. The keyboard has nice big buttons that I am not used to yet but I feel like my iPhone has a more responsive keyboard. When it shrinks webpages to fit the screen the quality of the image on the screen is not that good until I enlarge it. I am making so many typos although this has autocorrect but argh this keyboard is not good. This is NOT a cheap computer replacement! Do not buy this with that hope. Web cruising, not a lot of typing, fine. don't know if the hubs has downloaded apps yet. EDIT: I must also add that closing an application is not very intuitive. I had to dive back into the instruction manual to figure it out. Playing with it, you can see why it didn't sell. But for $98 bucks shipped (thanks HP for accepting my coupon! $98 bucks, after CA tax and CA recycling fee plus free shipping) I can't really complain. It's at the "toy" price.

Nope. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_468502_match?nodeId=468502#match Price Matching With the exception of TVs, Amazon.com doesn't price-match with other retailers (including those who sell their items on our website). We do, however, consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry. In some cases our website offers lower prices via the used and new offerings available from Amazon Marketplace or Merchant sellers. For more information, see our Marketplace Help section.

What things are you hoping for the most on Black Friday to be good deals?
freesia39 replied to momof3luvs1's topic in 2011
If an XBox/Kinect bundle goes on sale, I MAY consider it. If they sell it online. -
I tried Saturday morning, every store in this area was sold out. Of course a couple of the issues are: 1. I live in Geek Central, USA. 2. I don't think stores had a large supply on hand, and some, such as Best Buy, were starting to ship them back to HP. I was at Staples at 11am, and I heard the cashier tell someone they had a line around the corner when they opened at 8am, and they were sold out at 8:02am. We tried Best Buy (long gone), Office Depot (long gone) another Office Depot (even longer gone) and Costco (had not dropped the price.) I think the only place that might have still had them were small towns in this country, but I'd call the store first. Chances are, by now, they're gone. You might have still had a chance late Saturday morning. It's like early Black Friday!

5pm CA time, meaning I'm driving home and probably can't make it.

I thought it was hilarious the first time I saw it. Almost wanted to go up to the guy and say how "how are you, young skywalker."
-
I'd hit up yard sales - I think I have a box of a few hundred over at my parents' house, and the box is worth nothing, I bet.

That is a tablet though, way bigger than an iPod touch.

Even the refurbished one through Apple is $149... I don't think you can find one for $75 unless you know someone selling it.

Old Navy-2 dollar tanks this weekend
freesia39 replied to heatherhannah71's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I don't like how long they are. I've always wanted to pick them up cheaply on clearance, and even then, not really worth it - I don't like shirts practically going down my legs. -
Old Navy-2 dollar tanks this weekend

For today, you can also get the tanks if you bring the printout from the ON Facebook page. -
I didn't get it.

I can't do math at 7am. Two bottles of mouthwash, 4.50 each, 2.50 in ECB back. I had one 2.00 coupon and 1 1.00 coupon for the mouthwash, which would have made my total 6.00 before taxes, and I had one 7.00 ECB. Stupid me grabbed two small bags of candy for 3 dollars, instead of one bag for 1.50, which was all I needed. Bah.
