The drawstring backpacks are the bomb diggity. I use it for my gym clothes. And the GD reusable shopping bags are the best.

Has anyone ever asked for additional discounts on large purchases.
freesia39 replied to bclvr61889's topic in 2011
Wal-Mart probably won't do this for you though. Circuit City would have, as they worked on a much higher margin. (Plus, the cost on that TV was probably half, so the store had no problem knocking off another 10%) Your best chance for discounts is in a store that has their employees on commission, however, in computers, they work on very thin margins and it is not easy to get discounts. Fry's Electronics is one place to try if you have on nearby. -
OMG THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS X ELEVENTY BILLION. It makes me cringe that some people think a cell phone camera takes "good" pictures. They take "fine" pictures for what you are given, but I'd never blow them up and frame them. I have a decent camera on my iPhone but it will NEVER EVER EVER replace an actual camera for me, even a little P&S

Want tips for how to make a tree look very FULL & decorated
freesia39 replied to allshoppedout's topic in 2011
This year, I'm going with a blue/gold themed tree (UCLA colors) so I'm using a lot of gold ribbon to fill the empty spaces. But my tree is tiny... so there isn't that much to cover. -
You know, I haven't been inside a Wal-Mart I think in over a year. But not because I'm boycotting them... there's like.. one... in this entire area.

It is what it is - a cheap tablet. I wouldn't expect anything fantastic out of it.

My local Kohls is a few stores down from the Toys R Us. It'll be insanity. I plan to avoid both of them anyways, Kohls, put your sales online again!

Join us!

I hope I remember! I'll be gone by 7:30 PDT though because I have UCLA football to watch!

The app works, it's just going to be brighter than reading on a kindle - there's some eye strain.

If you are hard pressed for a super zoom in a pocket sized camera, unfortunately Canon's models in that price range does not support it. You can get a SX130IS, which is a larger model, but has 12x zoom for 192 on Amazon right now, since they are clearing out that model. You can try this Panasonic: Panasonic DMC-FH25K http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-FH25K-16-1MP-Digital-Stabilized/dp/B004NBZ8DQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1317781368&sr=8-4 8x optical zoom. Panasonic makes excellent P&S cameras with great optics. It's down to 131.95 on Amazon. You can also try this Sony for 159: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Cyber-Shot-DSC-H70-Wide-Angle-3-0-inch/dp/B004H8FNEE/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1317781484&sr=8-6 This has 10x optical zoom. I've never been a fan of Sony cameras, but some here on the forums swear by them.

I'd return the Samsung, but then I'm a Canon person. Get a Canon or a Nikon if you want some better quality pictures. As for deals, yes, you can probably find better ones year round. BF is great for cheap entry level cameras that you don't care if they get busted.

Simply put: nothing compares to the iPad.

AHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I was on the road on Sunday. I should have bought a paper on one of my stops.
-
Dangit, I couldn't get a newspaper on Sunday. Were there candy coupons? That could have been useful on the get $5 ECB when you spend $12 on candy

That's why we got the kindle (previous generation) - to try to cut down on the actual books we buy. They are a pain to move when you move semi frequently Sent from my iPhone using GottaDeal

Intriguing price point. -
If I remember correctly, I think Amazon dropped the price on their iPod touches last year to be the same price after the gift card (so a $25 discount), which I thought was a much better deal.
-
iPod: there will only be with a gift card offer, it won't be that much cheaper. Laptop: If you see a spec'ed out laptop you like NOW, in the price range you want, go ahead and get it. I don't like buying laptops on BF - I don't think it's worth it. The cheap ones they put out are not the greatest quality machines out there, and for 50 to 100 dollars more, you can get a more stable machine. I know nothing about the DSi.

LOL I was just showing my husband the ad, and he's giving me a lecture on how inflation is calculated just by looking at these ads.

Missoni for Target® did you get any of it?

It was a limited production run in the first place. They might replenish some of the housewares apparently, but not the clothes. -
