I don't think this works anymore - I think the last time I purchased something with Kohl's cash, they reduced the return value of the item so you don't really get the cash back. If you buy something that is 13.00, and use 10.00 Kohl's cash, then your receipt says a return value of 3.00.

Well at least with the Canon, you can get the cheap f/1.8 50mm (called the nifty fifty.) It's a great lens for the price, even if it's plastic. I agree the kit lenses are not the greatest but doable when you are first learning.

An iPhone 7 will take beautiful photos also, as will a DSLR. However, she needs to learn how to use the camera to take advantage of all the photos to take the headshot/model photos and the nature photos, along with learning lessons about lighting. How serious is she about the quality of the photo? Will she want to do photo editing also? Target I visited yesterday was 90/70, and they also threw in a ton of the Star Wars stuff from the dollar section. Saw a mom stocking up for her son's upcoming birthday party.

Some have reported a flip to 70%. Yesterday it was 50% at two stores I went to.
