Its funny you should post this. Just yesterday I was bored. Husband the night before worked midnights so he was sleeping. Kids were in school. I decided to pull out the gifts I had already bought my daughter and start wrapping! (My husband never got around to putting the paper/tags/bows away in the shed last year so they were in a box in the second garage). All items I bought my daughter are wrapped, tagged, and put away. About 8 items so far. My son will be next time Im feeling "bored"!! I hope to stay on top of everything this year!

My mom needs a DVD/VCR combo. Have to keep that one in mind. Thanks for posting!

A lot of times stores won't match percents off. Just solid price thats cheaper. At least in my experience.

Definately NOT to impress. Stations want to interview me? Fine, but they will get me in jeans, sweatshirt, and winter jacket. I do put make up on and hair though. Can't be too bad looking! LOL

Daily Im checking the BF site just to see if anything leaked out early! Usually I head to the lounge, but now that its BF time, this is the first forum.

I am usually in line by 2am. Stores around here open at 5am-6am. I usually head home around noon or so. I see the family, talk to the hubby and tell him about my experiences, then pass out for a few hours!

My walmart will price match anything as long as you don't need a special card to get the price. Such as a Giant Eagle or Apples card. If you don't need a discount card to get the price at the other store, then they will adjust

Nothing upsets me more than to wait in line for so many hours and be 2nd or 3rd in line. 20 minutes or so before opening the person before me will be joined by 2+ people. They just dont understand why I would be upset! I hate that

My son really wants a nice keyboard for christmas. He has a cheapie one now. Pretty small with no options for sound effects etc. He fell in love at walmart with one that was $178. I really don't want to pay over $100. My neighbor used to be in a band and has offered to give him lessons so I want one that is of good size. Should I check the pawn shops besides stores? My husband thought maybe I could find one there. Of course Im not sure if I want to go that route. can someone find a great deal on a keyboard?! Thanks.

I realize there are limited quantities, but pushing at our age is ridiculous! I couldn't imagine pushing someone out of the way to get a toy or whatever the product is. Of course I've never been pushed as Im 5'11. I don't think they would have the nerve. LOL

My cousin is a head excecutive for QVC. Never ordered from there, but he'll tell me of great items! I order online, but never from tv. Walgreens or a store will have the "As Seen on Tv" items within a month or two so I just wait if I see something I like.

I bought the science toys at Toys R Us. If your child is older who loves science these are super nice. They have a rock tumbler, solar system, etc. Educational and fun. Im sure my son will love them

Well, I went to Target and bought the game. I spent $33.88 plus tax. Not bad. Im sure my son will love it.

Yeah, my sister wants the Desperate Housewives set. Walmart seems the least expensive right now. Thats the route I'll go if someone doesn't have it on sale on BF. Im thinking Best Buy may though

Diane, check out the science stuff Toys R Us has in their ad this week. It is on sale till October 30. They have 6 different science items that are for boys 10 and up. My son will be 11 and he loves science. Especially the soler system. Origonally $25 I believe they are $19. I may be getting 3 of them as they look very interesting.

Men's Warehouse is your best bet. My husband got one from there and they had the best pricing.

Just wondering on BF, do you charge all your items, use cash only, or combine the both. I usually try never to use my charge card for purchases. I use cash and/or debit card from my checking account. I find I will pay more for an item if all I have to do is pull out plastic! My one friend charges all the time and especially on BF. Needless to say she had to get a consolidated loan to pay off her cards! This year, my husband wants me to charge everything so I won't have tons of cash on me and then we will pay it off in January once the bill comes in. Now how many times does something happen and you can't do this! I've heard of christmas charge card bills being in the hundreds to thousands! I have a lot of people to buy for, but we all agree not to go over a certain amount. I think I may charge a bigger item or two, but try to pay cash for the rest. What about you guys?

Yeah, I should have bought that. I believe it was like $26 or $28 at Walmart. Shes only 6 so I don't need anything special. My friend's daughter broke hers so she gave me a bunch of games to give her for christmas. At first I didn't know the sp played the regular Advanced games and now that I do, I'll buy her that one. She'll love the games. A bunch of Nick cartoon ones

Im going tomorrow to get the spin art toy. Its a great gift for my daughter. She just has too many dolls and barbies. Need some more toys ideas. She loves art so Im going to buy some art supplies. I got her the crayola art chest last year that was on sale during BF and she absolutely loved it. nice storing container when I bought more items she used up. Shes into playing school too so Im going to get her a new chalkboard w/ accessories.
