My husband is going to build my 10 yr old son a computer. My 10 yr old is saving up to buy each component of it with his own money. We are in need of a inexpensive Hard Drive. nothing big as he just wants it for basic stuff (games, homework etc). We can always add a bigger hard drive later. Need to find a deal on a 40 GB (internal) Hard Drive. Thanks for any help!

thank you so much for that heads up at office max. I called my husband down and he thinks that desk will work. We will go to Office Max tomorrow and check out (just to make sure its sturdy). Hopefully tomorrow my son will have a desk!

I have never been in those stores and wouldn't think they had desks! I have a Bed, Bath and Beyond near my mall but Im not sure about a Linen-N-things. I'll have to check the site and check locations. To find a smaller sized desk, I'll travel. Im in Ohio. Thanks Ross.

My husband and I are going to be starting remodeling our 10 yr old's room on his spring break (3/25-4/3) and want to put a small desk in the corner of his room for homework etc. Eventually buy him a computer (when hes a little bit older). I cannot seem to find a SMALL corner sized desk. Everyone has corner desks, but they are huge (dimension wise). I dont need anything fancy but want something that will last too. My son's room isn't huge so thats why I need a small desk. Corner desk would be great to maximize his space. anyone know where I can find a smaller sized corner desk? thanks.

I believe I saw lights like that at Target and Kohls. Kohls is at 60% off right now. Of course, I saw them this past weekend.

Walmart is at 50% off right now too. I bought my mother-n-law her gift set for next year (got it for only $12) and tissue paper for .50 a pack and gift bag for .50. So she is done ! Also bought gift sets for her two foster girls to put away. Bought my dad his preferred stock set he loves every year. Only $6. Also some girl lip gloss sets for only $1.44 for my daughter. Wrapping paper was only .49 a roll. and new garland for the house for only $1.44 a pack. Gift tags for only .30 a pack and ornament hooks for .20 a pack. Stocked up~ I didn't want to wait too long as selections is always dwindling after the first day of clearance. Oh, I also got my christmas cards for next year for only $2 a pack. I may go back up this weekend too at another Walmart to see if they have some more items.

Nothing for myself. I did get the CK One perfume I wanted from my husband. Also, my usual $100 gift certificate to the spa I go to.

When we got our refridgerator, they didn't have the model that was advertised and they jumped two models up for us. The guy new we would pay cash on the spot so he bypassed the next model up and gave us the top of the line Kenmore for the one advertised. Heck of a deal and saved us over $250. Thats how you get return customers!

I bought all my appliances at Sears. Free delivery (mail in rebate but comes quickly) and great service. Not complaint yet! When we bought our house we got all new. Bisque color and love them. I got bought Kenmore appliances.

I dont think I have one around me either. At least I've never passed one I don't think in my area. Will have to check.

I have added tons of presents as both kids went to their secret santa shop. Plus I put all my parents and in laws under there. Roughly right now, about 20 presents. The rest (2 1/2 contractor bags full will come out of hiding christmas even when kiddies are asleep.)

Target and Kohls online seem to have som great deals and has some of the harder to find items. I found my Play TV Madden Football game there for only $34. Everywhere else was either sold out or wanted almost $50 for it. Search for Kohls coupons and there are sites that give you online coupon codes for 10-20% off first time users. Thats what I did.

I got my son an entire Nike outfit, included was shirt, Nike undershirt to match, pants, socks, and hat all for a whopping $22. Wow! Cheap if you ask me. I always go to JC Pennys right before Christmas. My son who is 10 loves Nike and anything Tennessee Titans so I was lucky to find everything there.

Walmart has games 2 for $20. You can pick from all the systems. Online special only I believe

Wonder how they could afford to sell these items at such a low price. Granted they want $5 to ship a supposed free pair of sunglasses, but that is really not bad. If someone does order from this site, let us know how the experience was and if they are reliable.

I forgot my coupon today and the sales clerk had a bunch of coupons available for that reason. So if you cannot find your coupon, ask the person at the register.

My kids' Santa workshops must be expensive! LOL. The note that was sent home said average gift was $4 and up to $12. Cheapest being $1. So since she had to get presents for Grandpa and Nana I gave her $20. My son who is in 4th grade will get $25 as he likes to buy for Mom, Dad, Sister, Dog (Pet selections this year), Nana, Grandpa, and his cousin. I wish the average gift in my area was $2, then I wouldn't have to shell out so much!

My daughter who is in preschool just had her santa secret shop at school so I've added 5 more presents under the tree. I gave her $20 and the teachers bring them around the santa shop to buy for the people on her christmas list. Too cute because one present she bought was from herself to herself! Had to laugh at that one!

What color? I find that stainless steel, black, white, bisque all run different prices. At least at Sears. Go figure. Also, gas or electric?

I found my son's Tennessee titan jersey on Amazon.com. He wears Mens sizing and I found one for only $49. Go under Apparel and search from there.
