BF is the day I shop for deals for the children. So toys and electronics for my oldest age 11

yeah, I saw a savings of $5 but now a price of it.

Over the summer my husband and I went to an area fleamarket that is open every Saturday and Monday. This guy (god knows how he sells them so cheap) had t-shirts from colleges, NFL, plain, etc for only $2 each. If you bought more than 5, they were $1. My husband stocked up and I got some for my son as he had kids sizes through plus adult

so true. Im always one of the first in line at 2am and every year there is a group of people who come right before opening. You know what they are going to do as they start walking real slow towards the front of the line. Doors open and they push themselves in.

Its so true. Im telling you its so fullfilling to see the excitement in the whole families eyes. My children are learning super life lessons and enjoy helping others. Growing up my mom and dad always adopted a family and I didn't think twice when it came available for my own family to do it. One year we even found out they had one cat and bought a cat stocking at Walmart for it. One of the little ones of the family couldn't believe "santa" remember their cat. I love those memories!

I am glad there has been to ice and snow. I don't drive when its icy.

Your welcome. Its always nice to see a child open a gift, but its even better to see them full too! I try to include some goodies too besides the traditional turkey and sides. Make (or buy) desserts too! I also do stockings too. But give them to the parents so the little ones think santa brought it.

My 24 hour Walmart closes early on Thanksgiving but re-opens by 3am. I go in there, get all my price matching stuff then walk around until pallets are uncovered. Good thing is that they are always on top of the checkouts and I get out of there super early!

My kids are peekers. They will find that christmas bag no matter where I try to hide it! last year, I caught my oldest re-wrapping a stocking stuffer gift. Now I did the same thing when I was his age, but he still go in trouble

This year my sister has to be at work by 8am. So, that means I have to shop for her too. Guess I will be getting home later than usually this year

I'll have to look a bit more closely when I go to walmart today. Out of dog food so I will swing by toy section and take a glance.

Yes, my church when you sign up to help out family in need askes if you can provide the dinner also. There is also a sign up list for church members to just provide dinner. I just buy everthing and presents. Thats another reason why BF is important as I buy gifts for my "adopted" family too.

When my husband gets back from work I will ask him. They were 50 packs for less that $8.95 I believe. That why we bought so many.

I see we now have started seeing rumoured ads. Its getting closer guys and gals! YEAH! :)

I really hope they do. I went there last week and they were still PMing. Only stopped PMing any stores that need a discount card to get sale price (Apples, Giant Eagle, etc).

My new Walmart opened within like 2 weeks after products started to arrive. Definately will be open by BF.

My family every year adopts a family through our church. Last year we took on a family of 5. Bought everything from christmas dinner to toys to clothing for the family. My own children pick out the family from a list given to us through the church. One year they picked out a family of 2 (single mom and child) and one year picked a family of 4. Just depends I guess.

I bought a little carry case that fits into my pocket. I can fit my debit/charge card and id, and some cash. My husband feels better about me going out now. He was worried about me standing in line at 2 in the morning with a purse. I can understand that though

Toys R Us didn't price match last year. Though I thought if they were going to be competitive for BF this year, I figured they would. All well

I heard Walmart was very disappointed in their sales and will really be aggressive in their toys this year. That made me happy!

Apparently it is in high demand. I would buy now. Worse case then return if cheaper elsewhere and in stock.

The DVD player I bought at Walmart is still working fine. Also the TV about 3 yrs ago.
