  1. I looked for just a min but only found this: http://www.80stees.com/pages/mailing_list_signup.asp Sign up for their mailing list and receive a 10% discount code via email. This is the one I got: NewSub562179 (not sure if it's one time use or not? try it! I haven't..)
  2. Being they said it'd be $32, I'd push for that amount if the $42 sticks. Also, on orders/items I've adjusted, I can check the order on Amazon of course but then at the bottom of the detailed order/invoice - it shows that I e'd or called and that they gave me an adjustment of X amount.
  3. Another option but maybe not as great price wise? http://www.amazon.com/Warn-603700-Works-1-9-horsepower-Utility/dp/B000CQBM68 I miss ours on our Chevota.
  4. Oops. sorry! Delete my other thread. I never knew there was a sticky for these. :/
  5. Calling is a better option when you want to do this. Be quick though! If your order is still "not yet shipped," then buy the other item and you should be able to "combine orders" which is an option it will give when you view your orders. But I'd call and ask to do this, just to make sure.
  6. A sort of easy way to keep track of items you've purchased but want to make sure you get PA's on if they drop in price! Go to your order page and go to each order, click on each item and add it to your cart. Do this for every single item you've bought in the past 30 days. Then go to your cart and click "Save for later" on each one! When you have time, refresh your cart and see if a message appears at the top stating such and such item has dropped in price. When it has, call or email! :) Just make sure to put all of the items as "Save for later" and then delete them when necessary. :)
  7. It's probably best to just email right now, lol. Poor CSR's are getting bombarded! Anyone that has gotten the $ back in their CC acct - how many days did it take? I know they say 1-3 business days. I keep checking my CC, lol.
  8. It will go to your email acct associated with your Amazon profile. It takes anywhere from 2 - 10 minutes I've found. But I imagine it could take up to a couple of hours as well. If no response within 2ish hours, I'd call.
  9. When I go through the link above, I choose the item/order that needs a PA. I just type that I paid X amount and it's now X amount, so I'd like the price difference refunded. I say please and thank you somewhere in there, lol.
  10. That should be enough. But if they reply saying you can't have it, then reply with a link to their PA (that I linked in the first post here) and ask for it again.. or call.
  11. It applies automatically to PP items sold BY amazon.com. So add the item to your cart, and when you get to the checkout page before submitting order - it will show a $5 discount on the right hand side.
  12. That's a good point to make. Amazon keeps track of their prices, of course. But it's always good to have your own proof, just in case they play dumb. (To take a screenshot with Windows anyway, you hold down the CTRL button and push PRNT SCRN. Then go into Paint or a similar program, go to Edit and Paste and then save that image)
  13. See, I won't even turn on the one click feature as I'll be in more trouble with DH probably, lol. It's bad enough I have Prime now, which makes this all wayyyyy more tempting.
  14. I don't know how your affiliate linking tracks (if at all?) how much/what is purchased? I am just curious if you've seen an increase in number of items bought or whatever on Amazon since the toy deals started? Any stats? I love numbers..
  15. And now with more price drops tonight, I'm finding DH is going to kill me when he sees the number of presents I'll be putting under the tree. I really don't want to hide any for future bdays (being my kids are all late in the year!). I'm thinking I'll be weeding through their toys and donating what we can in the next two weeks.. 'cause come Christmas, my kids will be spoiled (and I swore I'd never go overboard..). ----- EVERYONE keep checking your already placed orders for lower prices. As I posted in my PA thread on the Deal Discussion board.. an item I bought two weeks ago was the same price I paid last night, then I checked a few hours later and it dropped $5 and then just a few hours after that - it was back up!
  16. I know some discussion will continue to go on in that thread, which is fine.. but I figured for those of us (like me!) wanting to talk more about it all.. this may be the place. ---- THE Toy Deal threads with LOTS of amazing prices! *most current thread* Link to thread #8: HERE Link to thread #7: HERE Link to thread #6: HERE Link to thread #5: HERE Link to thread #4: HERE Link to thread #3: HERE Link to Thread # 2: HERE Link to Thread #1: HERE ---- Price Adjustment terms Price Adjustment via email Amazon Price Adjustment #: 1-866-216-1072 thanks Patty!
  17. Really my question could apply to any holiday, birthday, etc.
  18. I have more to add! I ordered DH an item on Amazon at the end of Nov as I said. It was $29.97. I kept checking 1-2x per day quickly to see if it'd drop in price. It dropped this morning around 4am. I had just checked 4-5 hours before and it wasn't that low! So I PA'd, right? I just checked the item 7 hours after the PA and it's back up to $29.97. So it pays to take a second to check items when you're on Amazon's site anyway. :)
  19. The shelving on the end of an aisle (as you round the corner to go to the next aisle).
  20. I'd ask a coworker if I were close to someone, just asking around what amt they are usually. Otherwise, I'd wait. Glad to hear things will work out. :)
  21. NOT Littlest Pet Shop. I get weak and find myself typing in my CC number on order pages when I see LPS stuff! AHHHHH. http://www.boscovs.com/wcsstore/boscovs/images/store/product/images/18529814150014.jpg;pvcbb01d6e5bea624f http://www.boscovs.com/StoreFrontWeb/Product.bos?itemNumber=18151&type=Product $2.99 Okay, and there's more.. I'm trying to resist.
  22. My DH is like a child when it comes to Christmas. He knows he has presents and told me the other day that I'd better wrap them before he peeked. He's that bad. I promptly wrapped his. He's still asking if I'll give hints. I rec'd one gift the other day for him and he knew from the UPS label that it weighed nine pounds. So now he tells me daily what may weigh around nine pounds that he wants.. On the other hand, I can and prefer to wait. DH has put my gifts in the closet in our office. A place I never look for anything as it's all of his computer stuff. He came home the other night from work and looked to see if anything was moved. I told him, I don't want to know. In fact, he left a receipt out near his wallet last night. He saw it and knew I'd probably seen it, I told him I hadn't looked because I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! He was taking offense at this, thinking I meant that I thought he got me crappy gifts. No, I just really don't want to know until we open gifts on Christmas morning. In fact, this weekend DH asked if he could give me one gift now as he thinks I'll just love it. I told him I want to wait. So what are you like when it comes to this? What about SO, if you have one?
