  1. Cards are sent out. Packages that were needed to be sent were sent! All items except those I have yet to receive (two, I think?) are wrapped. 3/4 of stocking stuffers are bought. And this Christmas I am not baking. Instead, a friend who works at a bakery is bringing me 3 dozen cookies to take to my Dad's and then my IL's. LOL. :)
  2. Oooh, good ideas!! Funny thing is, I got him a gift that is the same size as the Zune box (I've seen the Zune packaging at Best Buy). It is wrapped, but he hasn't seen it yet. I'll have to find a HUGE box and put the Zune in there. I still have printer paper I can put in the bottom to weigh it down as well.
  3. Most B&M stores around here have them - Walmart, TRU, Kohl's, Target..
  4. After going round and round with Buy.com about a Zune I ordered (and told DH about finally, as it was so irritating to me) for HIM.. I gave up on Buy.com and went to Amazon and ordered one. Being DH knew about the Zune, since I knew a week or two ago we wouldn't get it based on Buy.com's BS replies to me. DH knows he was going to get one, and then found out of course he wouldn't be getting one. I also told him because he almost bought one on Black Friday and I decided to just tell him after that why I talked him out of it. Anyway, he's not expecting one now, to say the least. So Amazon is delivering the one on Friday. I am going to head to Best Buy or similar for a Zune accessory (probably a screen protector). I thought about putting the accessory in his stocking, since we go through stockings on Christmas morning first. He'd probably question it and ask if it was something I got before I realized Buy.com wasn't sending the one I bought. Or does someone have a better idea? No matter what this will be a surprise to him but I want to confuse him a bit, if at all possible.
  5. I ordered it Sunday from Amazon, it shipped Monday and will be here tomorrow ($15.99). The Target deal is good, just be there early.. with it coming out a week before Christmas, I think this may be a last minute gift a lot of people pick up (like I did).
  6. I asked a similar ? http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=92628 We still haven't decided what to do. Guess I'd better figure it out since I'm heading to Lowe's in a bit. :)
  7. DH Kids (3) Friends (5) MIL/FIL BIL/gf Dad/gf So, 14 people. Another benefit to not having a large family on my side or DH's (kidding!). :)
  8. I'd go by number of presents, if anything. I have three but mine are all young and close in age. And they also are not old enough (yet) to notice if one gets more gifts than the other, if we probably spent X amt on one while not on the other. So right now anyway, I just get around the same number of gifts.
  9. My local TRU, Walmart, Kohl's and Target has them. Some are $99, some are $89.
  10. It was my subtle attempt .. well, anyway - point being - he/she is a spammer anyway.
  11. Huh? You never "said"? This is your first reply to this thread... I am confused.
  12. Same here. Only mine was very odd sounding (the email), so I wrote back playing dumb basically.
  13. No need to be a Costco member BUT.. Non-members pay a 5% surcharge for costco.com purchases, except for prescription drugs and gift certificates. :)
  14. Not great when you go during the holidays. As has been stated in this thread, they consolidate a lot of their clearance (some was moved to the back room in our local store in fact) to make room for holiday stuff including gifts.
  15. No idea. The thread was deleted apparently. It wasn't just closed (ie locked), because I looked briefly for it earlier.
  16. *cough* This is why it's beneficial to find four other people to sign up with you. Then they all pay you $15-ish and you pay for Prime, then help them sign up (I can get specific if you want). This is what some people did so they didn't have to fork out the $79 themselves, but only $15 per person.. *cough*
