There are ways to check, but you are right - most retailers do not use that automated system yet. Now they can call and find out, but that's a PITA, especially on a day such as BF. As long as they haven't had problems with your bank and/or your name before (bouncing checks), you should be fine and at most have to provide picture ID as usual.

Ooookay. Lets put it this way, you can get a lot of printers now-a-days for $29.99. Printers are cheap anymore and still good quality surprisingly. About Kodak digi cams, no way. Someone would have to pay me a LOT to buy a Kodak digital camera, they are not worth your money. Lastly, the digital camera thread stickied at the top of this forum - I don't think I've seen a question go unanswered. There are very helpful people checking those stickied threads all day long. You'd probably get a lengthier and more in depth answer than I provided even.

Not stupid! There's the regular AOL sub you can get which is for dial up users, it's your only ISP. Then there is the AOL you can use with an ISP you already have. For instance, I have Comcast but if I wanted, I could sub to AOL Broadband. AOL runs off of my Comcast connection BUT I will have the features AOL brings. So the regular AOL is just the normal one they came out with initially before broadband was available to regular people (eh, I could get more technical, but my head is hurting tonight, lol). Then there is the broadband kind that you use with your DSL or cable connection..

I can't read it either.. but that said, rainchecks are usually always a no no at any store (on BF). I wonder if anyone can read it??

I am not allowed to say what store, but I will after BF, promise! The manager is making sure it's okay with corporate right now. I called a store up and asked them their policy about people taking pictures in the store. He of course asked why I would do that and I explained the excitement of BF and this site I am on, etc. He knew about GottaDeal and thought it was terrific (said it brought in more shoppers in his opinion!). He asked if I wanted in early to get good pics and I about fell over! He did tell me I absolutely could not purchase anything (much less touch it!) and I could not use my cell phone nor theirs (I guess to tell "friends" where items are? no idea!). I would only be allowed in the front part of the store near the registers as well. I am hoping he gets the all clear - he is calling me back tonight or tomorrow morning to let me know. I told him I'd be sharing the pics here as well as the names and locations of the stores, etc.. and he was excited! LOL. Wish me luck!!

I think these are reader submitted. Meaning the consumer goes to the web site and tells them which restaurants they've come across that do any sort of deals.

Hubby always gets paid on Friday. Sadly it doesn't matter this year.
