Near the top right hand corner in each forum there is a "Search this Forum" text, you click on that and it brings down a drop down menu. In threads, there is a "Search this Thread" text and same as above, click on it and a drop down menu to input your text. Now, if you just want to use the basic search over the whole site or do a more advanced search, go up towards the right hand side and under where it says, "Welcome, warriorjoe7. You last visited:..." under that is a "Search" with an arrow pointing down. Click on that and you can input your text or click on "Advanced Search". If you still cannot find it, please reply!

Obviously they did let it leak, as a regular associate saw the ad and knew the price. I am NOT talking badly about a regular associate here (I've worked similar jobs), but they don't leak that stuff to even "regular associates" if it's that big of a secret. That said, I think her reply would get me going up to the customer service desk asking for THE manager now. I know WM isn't known for great customer service, but I'd still make a stink. Since you didn't, I'd take a minute and call back to complain - just say that such and such employee (even a description of her) called you, a paying customer, a liar. Maybe they'll at least tell her to keep her mouth shut.

Try calling the store and asking them what color it is. Maybe the ones in store are black as well.

I don't care for her shows with celebs (or any other talk shows with celebs). But I do like the ones about real life incidents and stuff. That said, I am pumped about seeing the show today! It's so neat to see those people getting all of that stuff.

HD monitors, HD ready and HD compatible are all similar in that they LACK HD tuners. I did a search on all 15" LCD's made by Polaroid but they are all silver in color. The other ones I can find in black are 20" and up (and def. aren't reg price of $329 if I am reading that correctly on the scan). I am wondering if CC has the 20" pictured yet stuck the 15" text on it.

It's very possibly an item that they only stock during BF/holiday season. CC and BB have only so much space for digital camera models to show and sell. So this camera may not be one they carry regularly for whatever reason, yet they can give an awesome deal on for BF and so they stock it then.

I wasn't looking at the CC scan itself, I just looked at the list here and clicked the link to go to CC's web site to see it. I thought you were talking about one listed in the CC BF ad.

I see both sides and without getting into a long and possibly wrong answer as to why the associate said that - I'd call the store and ask for the manager and get their reply to your question! Make sure to get their name as well. Some stores are allowing you to price adjust on doorbusters, others are not. I think your chances of doing this on the laptop at Best Buy are slim to none, but I wish you luck!!

Some people (me, sigh..) will Google what they do see on the news, so hopefully some do! I know a lot of times our local news doesn't say the web site URL but they show the site's main page, so I just Google whatever I can to find it.

It's all rumors right now. The general understanding most of us have is there is around a dozen of each "doorbuster". Now if the camcorder is a FANTASTIC deal, then I'd get my hiney in line 3-4 or MORE hours before Best Buy opens at least! But how early you get in line depends on the location of your Best Buy as well. The tickets are generally for the computers/laptops from what I gather. Good luck!

Digital camera thread stickied above I do *not* recommend Kodak's digi cams myself. We bought my MIL an Olympus for around $150 last year and it is a great camera.

Went to Fred Meyer tonight (Kroger in some areas), it was 3 for $6, so $2 each. I got one and got the coupon. On my way back now to see how many more I can get.

Okay, I'm gonna have my Nikon D70 ready.. going to hit up quite a few stores near me on BF morning and take pics of the crowds. They're gonna think I'm peeping or something.
