Yes, they are allowed to do it. Also, if you look at the terms/policies on their site, you are virtually "signing" this agreement when you make a purchase on their site. Those terms usually state they can cancel an order at anytime for any reason. I forget, forgive me. Was this a BF deal? If you ordered it before the hours of BF, they could make that their reasoning for cancelling your order - you got in on a price that wasn't valid yet (even though yes, it was posted on their site). That's a guess though. Your best bet is to call their CS and find out what is going on.

I'm in. I just found that DH got a new game system by looking at our bank acct, so I think $15 on this is nothing.

Just checked eBay, averages $10-$25 (I think it depends on how much info the seller provides) each.

Their policy varies from store to store, they change it on a whim, etc. Their policies all around at B&M stores are screwy. I've had to complain to corp a number of times just for the manager to take me seriously.

A lot of people don't read the return policy before ordering from a retailer online, so I don't think you should blame yourself. That said, I never knew this and it's good to know. Their online policies are just as bad as their in store ones, lol. BTW, maybe post the link to the jacket and someone here can check out their local Target? I am going to mine this week and could look for you.. maybe they have it in certain stores?!
