I had a huge problem the one year I tried to do price adjusts on BF weekend. I ended up just buying everything on BF and returning the stuff I had bought previously. But I have never had a problem with Target running out of stuff in their ad, and if they do run out, they normally will do a raincheck - unless it says in the ad that it's "limited availablity" and if it has that then they normally don't put it out early anyway.

have you heard of Rokenbok? It's a great toy that you DS will love for years to come. You can buy the basic set and then add to it too. You can find it on line or at a small local toy store. My kids loved theirs when they were smaller.

Then you must not have a Super Walmart - which is open 24/7.

I hit this in 2005 in Smithfield, NC and plan to do it again this year (was out of town for 2006). The line to check out in some of these stores was over an hour. Not all the stores are open either, but the ones that were made it worth my while to shop there!

I heard varying stories last year. Some people were able to do it. You have to read the tiny print on the BF ad, I believe that last year BB had a note on it that said "PM policy not valid on doorbusters". But I could be wrong - my children remind me of that everyday.

If you are not shopping for a doorbuster - then do your shopping online on Thanksgiving day EARLY. Not all the monitors were doorbusters. You can select in store pickup for free and if the item is not available, Best Buy will ship it to you for free. The items I ordered online that I had shipped to my home had free shipping offers.

It always cracks me up when I go to NYC and see all those Target billboards and there isn't a Target anywhere near Manhattan.
