  1. What kind of TV do you have?
  2. My kids love Tony Hawk skateboarding and Excite Truck .. they love the driving games which I stink at.
  3. That's how my kids are going to do it. They really only want to see the Jonas Brothers - DD13 and DD16 .. hey that works for me.
  4. They have to be the brown one I believe - that's the color that has been discontinued.
  5. We've been using Virgin Mobile for going on over 3 years. They have been running specials on their phones via their website for like $20.00 with $20.00 worth of minutes. You have to activate the phone online to get the credit. They charge 18 cents a minute for calls (the frist and 5 cents per text message. You can also do monthly plans with no contract. The only commitment is that you "top up" your phone (add money) every 90 days with at least $20.00. If you select auto topup and have the charges to a credit card or checking account, that drops down to $15.00 every 90 days. With Virgin Mobile, there is no per daily fee - which is the best part I think. We have been pleased with their coverage and service, they use Sprint's network. You can also earn extra time by signing up for a program to basically read emails. If you decide Virgin Mobile is for you, activate the first phone, then use the number as a referral to activate the 2nd phone - you get a referral bonus with Virgin Mobile.
  6. Don't forget to check out the dollar spot at Target!
  7. Try your local Hallmark store.
  8. A really ugly Christmas tie. He will spend a few minutes to figure out if it's suppose to be a serious gift or a gag gift. lol
  9. But the GameBoy Advance SP never had its own games, so the GBA games will work fine for us! The only games Nintendo has stopped making are games for the old Gameboy.
  10. I think they are coming to my area in March 2008. Now TSO gets me into the holiday mode. We went last year for the 1st time and are going back this year. What an awesome show!
  11. This thread makes me miss my mom. She HATED to wrap. She'd either do all her shopping at the mall where they offered free gift wrap or we'd never see her on Christmas Eve. She'd be locked in her bedroom wrapping. Every once in a while we'd hear her just cursing up a storm.
  12. here's a code for free shipping until 12/19 9386
  13. I ordered Guitar Hero for Wii from CC and it came in a brown box.
  14. awww .. that's so sweet! My kids will be thrilled. I mailed them each a Christmas card today ..
  15. You take the certificate to the box office to purchase the ticket for NT2.
  16. Put it inside a box of condoms. See how long it takes for him to notice the gift card inside the box .. bwuahaha
  17. Have you thought about calling your church or their church? Or if possible have your office adopt them for Christmas.
  18. Even though they are older, you can still request help from Toys For Tots. I know that Best Buy is teaming up with the Marine Corps for Toys for Teens. Here is their website regarding requesting toys for someone. http://toysfortots.org/request_toys/default.asp
  19. Cards are going out today. I hope no one minds that I added "and Family" to the addressee. My kids are getting ticked that none of these cards are coming to the family - just to me. Poor babies! Don't want anyone else's kids to feel left out!
  20. Woohoo .. my tickets came over the weekend! Can't wait.
  21. The Wii comes with some memory. We've had our Wii for a year and haven't needed any additional memory, but like the above posted stated - the virtual console games eat up the memory too.
  22. Here's a tip for those of you who make the 7 layer dip. Add a package of taco seasoning to the sour cream. Yummy! My kids beg every year for my cheese dip. It's super easy and I do it in the crock pot. I take a pound of sausage, cook and crumble it. Add a big log of Velveeta and a can of Rotelle tomotoes. Cook it in the crock pot until the cheese melts. Serve with chips. We take the leftovers and add to scrambled eggs the next morning and make breakfast burritos. You didn't say how old your kids are, but mine are 13 and 16 and love it when we have "party food"! They love potato skins. I'd give you a recipe, but I always just pick them up at the grocery store from the frozen food aisle! They also like li'l smokies in bbq sauce.
  23. Best Buy - 445am. Got everything I wanted Target - 5:45am. Got everything I wanted
  24. Wow ... they sound like K-Mart when they are running their sales. Especially the one day sales on toys that they've been running periodically.
  25. well with their holiday gifts out now, you might have a better chance to spend those ECBs on stuff you actually might use. I know mine had a rolling duffle bag and some other travel type things. I'm forever buying Coke / Pepsi products, so I rarely buy toiletries with my ECBs.
