I have done that! I also add loose change so that it helps disquise the gift. One year I wrapped all of DH's gifts then put all the gifts in a big box and wrapped the big box. Another year we had hard to wrap gifts for the kids so I wrapped up clues and put them around the house. Everytime the found a clue they unwrapped a small gift that went with the big gift. By the third clue they knew what they were getting and could not wait to find it.

Does he have a leap frog leap pad? The Fridge phonics is a great toy too. It taught DD her letters in no time. My DD loves hers and they have a book with Cars on it this year. She also love her lego type blocks, and her guitar.

My DD is 18 and she likes the hoodies from Areopostle, just catch them on sale. She likes the perfumes from Bath and Body, (actually she likes almost everything from there). Kohls runs great sales on their jewelry during the holidays. You could probably get a pretty silver chain and earrings for around your price limit. I know the earrings were about 6.00 on line a week ago. You could also make a gift basket with all sorts of coffees teas hot chocolate, etc.. Hope that helps a little.

There are usually some nice jewelry pieces on BF. A gift certificate for a massage, a watch, a day at a spa. Last year my DS got him and his girlfriend bikes. They have used them alot on different dates, and bike different trails in our area. He told me he chose the gift because 1. They both wanted more exercise, and 2. It would allow them to enjoy it together.

I noticed a lot of men's body wash at 30% off I will have to keep my eye on it for my guys.

I went to Target today and got the Squishi foot massagers regular $15 for $3.74. I bought 2 one for DD and one for a family friend.

My mom and dad have sent money for me to do their Christmas shopping for them. Mom wants DD 3 to get a doll. DD has seen and asked for the Fisher Price Toddler doll. I am not sure that this is the doll I should get. (Though for the first time she told me I want to get that doll that talks for Christmas) She has not even mentioned Christmas before, though she has mentioned the doll. Personally I like the Rock a bye Chou Chou. I think it would be a better doll for DD. What would you do? Get her the one she asked for, or the other doll. Price wise they are within 5.00 of each other. I am so confused!! In another thread I made up my mind only to change it again today! I need serious help!

I got the money for the kids from my folks today. So now I have some money to shop with. Now if I could just make up my mind as to what to get.

I got a great deal on one last BF at Lowes.

I am planning to go to TRU today after work. If I see any Clubhouses I will buy them and see if anyone here wants them.

I was hoping for the B1G1 they did last year, so I am a little disappointed

I went and read the reviews on the dolls tonight. I sent an e-mail to my mom but I am pretty sold on the rock a bye chou chou doll for my 3 year old. I think she would enjoy it especially if I get a high chair or stroller to go with it. Any recommendations??

I try not to and I try to stick to a budget, but my kids still get too much because three sets of grandparents, plus some of my aunts and Uncles, Dh's brother and sister, it adds up fast. I am trying hard to get the kids one nice gift, some clothes and a couple of smaller gifts. I got DD 3 a pair of boots today. She will love them (she picked them out) and I snuck them in the cart.

I had to look and that is so cute. It is not in my budget this year but I would if I could!!!

I guess it depends on the situation. I would not want her to get in trouble for ringing it wrong. So I would probably tell her and let the her decide what to do.

Mine are older and love to give me their list, they are allowed to put anything on it but there is no promises that they will get it. I love it though when I can get get a bargin and surprise them with an item they thought they would not get. My three year old does not even realize Christmas is coming yet. She loves to look at the sale ads and online at the toys. So I just listen to her and to what others here say is good for that age.

Can you give some price limits on the gifts I think better if I have some guidelines. I looked at TRU website and there was a robotic dog but it was $50, so that may be out of budget.

My 15 year old said that he wishes Sears had sold them when he was that age, he loved tools and he knew that dad and grandpa had Craftsman so that was what he always wanted. So we vote for Craftsman!!

For the twelve year old I would think a digital camera, some jewelry, craft kits,paint by number or an art kit, some movies for her DVD player, new games for DS, a new bike or motorized scooter, maybe even a prepaid cell phone and some top up cards. For the six year old I would be as varying as his interest. Magnetix, legos, a portable DVD player with some movies, a Gameboy of some kind, a bike, action figures, some kind of race car set or a radio control car, I think if you think about all the kinds of things he really likes to do it will be easier. When my youngest was six he would have be wanting the craftsman tools that Sears carries for kids. Hope that helps a little bit, but don't worry you will find them gifts and they will be thrilled!!

I am not sure but probably 5 years What is the one AD that you really want to see? KB toys and Wamart What was that one item you sooo wanted to get, but couldn't get it on BF? Something from Kohls but I can not remember what is was now. Cheapest thing you ever bought on BF? Those small appliances from Wal-Mart. Did you ever get anything for free on BF? Gift card for being first so many in line.

Air compressor and air tools for DS1 Digital camera for DS 2 and clothes ?? for DS3 ( he is my hard one this year) Camera and Mic for laptop for DD1 (and a Seagull guitar) DS4 I would be thrill with a PSP but it probably is not going to happen. DD2 She is only three so she will like anything I am really flexible this year because money will be tight, I do get to shop for them with money from their granparents but it will only go so far.

It seems that certain toys are harder to find in certain areas. Is anyone having any trouble locating a toy your child is hoping for or you are hoping to get them? I am having trouble find cases for the FP3 player and the FP digital camera. I have the camera and the player but no cases yet.

I am seriously running out of time. I may have to have surgery in early December, recovery time is four to six weeks and I will not be able to drive for two. I may do more shopping online than ever before if I cannot finish before then.
