I want a new Chistmas movie. I try to get a least one a year. I have a bunch. I do not normally watch TV so watch Christmas movies is a treat the kids and I enjoy. I have too many to name but I do have the following A Christmas Story, Christmas with the Kranks (sp?),The Christmas Vacation ( I think that is the title), or A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. What are your recommendations?

My husbands grandmother orders fresh oranges and grapefruits from an orchard in Florida for us and other family members, we love it! I just can't remember where she gets them

There have been other threads talking about camcorders but I cannot keep up with them to figure it out. I can't remember where I posted questions. Anyway it depends on what you want. There are at least three types of camcorders minidv, DVD, and hard drive. Personally I think I am going to purchase the one for 299 at Sears DD works there so we get another 15% off. The funny thing is it is for her but my cousin is pretending it is for her son.

Do you have to go to BB for anything else on BF? If not I would get it now. It will save you some time for other deals.

Some of the prepaid cell phones might work for you DD that have more capacity than the firefly. The top up cards are about 20 each time but you can do it onlline. You know your daughter best, but I would ask myself if she was ready for the responsibility, is she careful with the things she has now (doesn't lose or break them) and does she understand that talking on the phone uses minutes and cost you money. If you and your husband have phones you might want to also check to see what it would cost to add some minutes each month, upgrading your plan may enable you to get the phone free. (She would be so excited to get it I can understand why your SO and you want to)

We have so many things to be thankful for, and it is hard to be sad when we remember how blessed we are. So share some things you are thankful for. It will encourage and remind others to be thankful as well. I am thankful for the feedoms we have in our country, and for those who serve so that we remain a free nation. I am thankful for my children and the little things they say and do that show me they love me and others I am thankful that DH has some hope of being able to see some out of his left eye. So far the retina did not scar and seems to be healing slowly. There are many many more but I want to hear what you are thankful for.

When they were younger and at home I did both. The older three are move out so I will spend more on the younger three than the older three. Two of my older ones will be spending part of Christmas at other places so they are all fine with this. I told the older ones last year that I would probably not do stockings for them this year but I enjoy it to much to give it up so I will surprise them with that little bit of extra.

Okay DD just requested a Camcorder so that is becoming a top item ( she had not asked for anything other that BBW stuff)

My DD3 did not give it the time of day, I said look a horse, she looked and kept on walking.

I cook enough that we eat leftovers for three days. I cook and shop and then I get two days to recover. (I use to rest, this year I will have to work Saturday)

All kids coats are 60% off and then an addittional 15% with the coupon many are recieveing in the mail. So if a coat was regular 80.00 it would cost you 27.20. Womens coats reg 130-180 are going to $49.99. The great thing is, for every 50 dollars you spend you get 10 in "Kohls Cash " usually good the following week. Can you tell I like Kohls?

I am glad that so many seem to know quite a bit about this subject. I need help. I just found out tonight that DD wants one. She will be going to South America in Jan. for 3 months so this would be a great gift. Money is tight though. Can you make any suggestions from the BF ads or an online deal? I will swing one somehow. 2 of my DSs want to go so we will see, DS's girlfriend was a first timer last year but wants to go again. I thought I was going to be alone so I am excited about them going.

I have asked my DD3 what she wants for Christmas so many times I am probably driving her crazy. She just keeps telling me she want the doll that you squeeze her hands and she talks. (the FP Toddler doll) I have that, but I guess since we do not watch TV she never sees the commercials, and it limits what she wants.

Do you have one of those digital picture frames? That would be a great way to display some of your photography.

I got DD3 the FP little mommy toddle doll and want to get her a shopping cart for it. I am not sure if I should go Little Tikes, Fisher Price ( the one with the phone) or just an off brand. I am hoping some of you have purchased one for your little girls and can give me some advice.

My oldest son has asked for a work coat for Christmas. He works outside or in drafty areas a lot. I want something warm and that will last. My DD can get 20% off at Sears and I can get 20% off at Pennys. Craftsmans coats are on sale but I was not sure how they compare to Carharts or if I should look for something else. Does anyone have a reccomendation?

I think the BF ads had some too, I think TRU and Target had some. Two of my boys played with these a lot. When they out grew them they were still in great shape that we passed them on to some friends of ours.

We bought 2 last year for two of our kids from CC but we had them installed after Christmas.

How do the ones with a hard drive work? Do you download it into your computer and then burn the DVD?
