shopping mom

My DS wanted to go but cannot get off work that day. If he takes the day he loses two days pay and he cannot afford to do that right now. I hope DD gets off or I may be shopping alone. I hope your son loves it as much as you (we) do

I have considered this doll, or the you and me at TRU, or the FP toddler doll. My DD loves her twins (no brand) that we got from Sears last year because my mom loved their faces. I just cannot decide which one she would play with the most. Any opinions??

I did well at the dollar spot tonight. I got some little felt purses and felt stickers to decorate them with some beads and some string for making jewelry. I did enough for DD3 to give to her friends for Christmas. I thought maybe I would have them over to make cookies and she could give them a present. The cookie making will depend on time but she will be excited to give them a present.

I always use one a Wal-Mart but it depends at the rest of the stores

I think I have seen some at Walgreens, but I am sure you will get more of a selection as the gift sets come out.

Remember though that Sears will price match plus an extra 10% off at least they do here.

I went after work today and bought a buch of stocking stuffers for 50% off at the dollar spot. I had the pink FP camera put away but I am going to return it to Wal-mart. The red one at Target was 5 dollars less and had the SD card. The play-doh was not on clearance yet here though.

I am happy with this ad, I want at least three things and I will have to re look at the hand tools after reading this thread

Sears is great for kids clothes. If they are kid-vantaged and they mess them up Sears will replace the same item same size free. I have used it many many times in years past.

It is really hard to buy a gift for someone you only see twice a year and do not know what they like or what they already have. Some ideas could be a watch, jewelry with a jewelry box, an inexpensive digital camera, or some kind of magazine designed for girls her age.

I am going to stop by tomorrow to see if I can find one of those play-doh sets for DD

Those Kenmore toy appliances are cute according to my oldest DD who works at Sears. I will have to see how the money goes. Oh and the compforter sets for 19.99 is something my oldest DS has asked for.

My 15 year old DS has mentioned a leather jacket. $49.99 looks good and it says you are saving $150. Plus I could use the gift card and DD works there so I can use her discount. I think if all that happens I would get it for $32.00 I definitely want it.

Books to read, wood crafts or leather crafts, sheet sets to go with new matress, Blanket with favorite team, I'll keep thinking

I have alot of wonderful memories, One of my favorites is about my oldest DS. He was ten at the time and love basketball. We had bought him an in the ground pole and backboard. the pole needed to be set up before Christmas so the cement could dry. We told him it was a Chritmas pole and decorated it with lights and garland. On Christmas Eve DH took down the decorations and put up the backboard. I still remember seeing the happy face of DS when he saw his gift.

I have too many favorites. I have some that were on our tree when I was growing up, gift ones from the kids, and a tiny manger seen on that DH and I bought for our 1st Christmas.

Michaels (arts and crafts) has a neat wood burning kit. I am not sure of the price but if you get a 40% off coupon from their sale ad it would probably be close to your price range. I may get one for my 15 year old.

59 days till Christmas!! time to PANIC I just answered the thread about how much shopping I still need to do YIKES!

I have alot to buy for still I hope I can get it done.

Circuit City I think had some too last year.

Do you have room for a together gift like air hocky, ping pong, or a pool table? My boys have also liked cologne and leather jackets (Kohls had great deals last year)

Some of the items I picked up said the same but the rang up 1.97. Just have them check at the register befor they ring you up.

I would also tell stores what you are doing they may give you an extra discount. It cannot hurt to ask. Walmart will sometimes give 50 dollars worth of mechandise to help in project like these. would definitely ask them. I think it is grat that you are doing this.
