  1. Thanks for the info my daughter loves this show, but I am in no hurry to getthem so I can wait, plus she only has season one.
  2. I asked the manager at Walgreens today when they would mark down to 75% off and she said midnight tonight it will change. the one near me has tons left!
  3. The lady stocking the Christmas stuff said 50% off but the store scanners said 75% off so I was able to get lots of little girl sets that will be perfect for birthdays or next Christmas. I was thrilled to find gifts for $1.00 and less.
  4. $5.00 blockbuster card, microwave popcorn, movie size candy box, and some cans of soda. This suggestion has been in many other threads posted by others but I think it would work for you.
  5. Aren't they in the Target ad this week?
  6. Blockbuster card, microwave popcorn, soda, candy, all in a nioce gift bag or basket
  7. We visit the nursing home once a month with our church and some of things I noticed they like are lap robes especially colorful ones, candy, snacks or cookies, message boads so they can hang up their cards or picures easily, large print books, and all occasion cards with stamps.
  8. If he likes jelly bellys they have a nice sugar free assortment.
  9. Bath and body works is always nice or a gift card to a nice restaurant. You could also do something for the whole office, a tray of assorted cookies maybe.
  10. Just think of her as one of Santa's helpers!
  11. I am getting the presents bought, only I have officialy lost count on what I have bought for whom so when I wrap I will probably have to do more to even it up. I have said this on other threads but htis is the one time of year I splurge on the kids. I get them a lot of things I know they need (shoes clothes etc) and then some things I know they want.
  12. In another thread there was a mention of a website called signaturedays.com. For 186 dollars he could have a ride in a helicopter, or for 219 a ride in a hot air balloon. They other offers closer to her budget too. If he likes music how about tickets to an upcoming concert that he would enjoy.
  13. DH's parents are divorced so I have two sets of ILs. However they are bothe great. We get along fine. Of course I see his mom and step dad once or twice a year. We talk on the phone once a month sometimes more depending on what is happening in our lives. Dh's dad and step mom are great too. We see them about once or twice a month and have dinner. Christmas has never been a problem (except for trying to put stuff away the granmas overdo sometimes)
  14. We disquise or hide whatever it takes. The best one though is when I assigned the kids a color. For example DS1 was silver, DS2 was gold, DS3 was red etc.. I was the only one who knew which person was which color. Shaking the packages did them little good because they did not know if the package was theirs or not. (They shook them all and tried to guess what was in it anyway) They already want to know when I will wrap presents so they can shake them!
  15. The dollar tree has good coloring books, you could add crayons, markers and color pencils for bothe the three year old and the 6 year old. Matchbox cars for the 6 year old and maybe one of those rugs or mats that have the road on it. The older ones will be harder to do cheaply at least for me they would be.
  16. Also try Hungates http://www.hungates.com
  17. I think you can get a checkers set with football helmets online and choose your teams but I cant remember where.
  18. Does he have some packers stuff for the car? You might be able to find flags or floor mats. A blanket with the team logo. Ilike the hotel idea and the massage too.
  19. I like that idea!! I was an only child and loved for my parents to play games with me.
  20. How about one of the satellite radios for his car?
  21. I was going to ask her tonight at church but they are home sick. Sorry. I am sure someone her can tell you though so many are good at crafts. I think she turns the bottom edge up an inch or two and stiches up the sides to form the pouch but I am not sure of the rest. I bet if you got a rectangular shaped place mat you could figure it out though.
  22. I friend of mine uses cloth place mats to make stationary holders and then stamps the stationary as gifts. The right color mat with the ribbon to tie it shut would work for you.
  23. I haven't done much online shopping but I did get some things from Amazon at 80% off thanks to this board!
  24. Couldn't they honor it with another laptop??
