That stinks! One year my ds wanted a karaoke machine. Most wanted thing on his list that year. We got him a really nice one. Well, he opened it on Christmas and it didn't work I felt sooo bad. Now we make sure most of what we buy the kids work ahead of time. At least the most important ones.

Yes, you can play ALL Playstation games on the PS3. Including PS1 games, PS2 games, and PS3 games. But you can't play PS3 games on the PS2 or PS1. Hope I didn't confuse you. PM me if you'd like if you have any other questions about it. My dh and ds17 play this all the time!

Best- Almost everything I've ever gotten except.... Worst- Anything mil gets me, (we don't get along and every year she would get me a soap gift basket even after dh told her I am allergic to them and have to use certain soaps, nothing scented.
