We bought the dog for our 4 year old last year on clearance and he LOVES it! I would definitely go with the dog! It guards, barks, and even lifts it's leg to "pee" (along with sounds!) It will also roll over and sit, does all kind of cool stuff!! And I do know that the roboreptile has trouble walking depending on what type of floors you have. A friend of mine has carpet and it won't walk on it at all. It will walk on her tile but slides some. But we've never had a problem with the dog, even on out plush carpet he walks. Hope this helps

One year I got my dad a giftcard to his favorite hunting store. I bought a box of his favorite Little Debbie cakes and carefully slid a razor blade through the seal so you couldn't tell it had ever been opened, placed the giftcard inside and glued the box back shut. He unwrapped it, looked it over (you could NOT tell it had ever been opened!), gave me a funny look, said thanks and laid it aside. I waited til everyone else was done unwrapping their gifts and then told him he should open the cakes, which he did but all he saw were the debbie cakes!!! He finally got curios after thinking I had finally lost my mind and dumped them out to find the giftcard!! LOL!! Of course the whole family thought I had lost my mind since I hadn't told any of them!!

We don't even get to wrap 95% of them til they are in bed on Christmas eve!LOL!! The only ones under our tree now are the ones the 4 year old son bought at preschool secret santa shop for his brother.

I vote for the 20 questions game also!! I bought my son one last year and all of the kids (ages 5-15) fought over it at grandma's house!! And....it's only about $9.99 at walmart!!

My 4 year old will only watch Barney! Over and over again!! You can get them @ walmart for $5 and up. That's what he's getting in his stocking!

I need help in coming up with a gift for my grandmother. She lives in a nursing home so she doesn't have room for much, so it needs to be small and/or useful. In the past I have given her picture frames with the great grandkids pictures in them, clocks, lottery tickets (she LOVES to scratch these, but now my sister has stolen my idea!!). But now I am out of ideas!

I was looking for the DVD "CLICK" that was in the ad for $9.72, but when they opened the box of dvds for $9.72, that movie wasn't in it, even though it showed it in the ad. The worker told me they must not have gotten any of that one. So, I went to electronics and picked one off the shelf and put in my cart, was going to show the clerk the ad if it wrung up $19.99 as marked on shelf where I got it, but no need, it wrang up $9.72 as it should have. But they didn't put any of the newer movies with the sale ones, even if advertised. I think hoping people would just think they didn't have any. That is just wrong!!!!

Toys R Us had the 1 GB MP3 Players advertised for $29.99, but our store didn't get any in at all!! My mom has a raincheck for 1 because it was in the big book for $39.99 and they haven't been able to get them in. So she was mad that they were in the BF ad, but they said they didn't get any of them. Another TRU told us they were dicontinued. Why put them in your ad if you can't even get them?!?!SO we still need to find a 1 GB Mp3 player

I agree that there won't be PS3s, at least there better NOT be!! I waited in line 34 hours and received a raincheck stating I would get mine BEFORE they put any on the shelves. They handed out 8 rainchecks. I believe every walmart that did not recieve 10 as advertised did this. As for Elmo, I'm doubtful too because he has been found at walmart periodically, including my store, and if he was making an appearance on bf you'd think they would be saving them all. So.... BRING ON THE LAPTOP!!!!! I'm hoping for the same one they had on sale in the Nov. 5 ad!! I have it on LAW and want to price match!!

We buy the $15 ones at Wal-mart, they have them at the front registershanging on the sides of aisles. Never found them cheaper than face value though.

Ok, we are looking into buying Sirius, but are confused about the radios. A co-worker has one that he can record STern then he replays it the next day at work through a radio (no reception inside the building we work in to listen live.) But we can't figure out which radio records so you can repley through fm transmitter! The only one we see is the Stilleto and we know that's not what he has cause he had his before the stilleto came out. Anyone know one that records hours?
