I just bought my niece a pair for her bday off of ebay. Paid $31 shipped for them and they are nice. She loves them.

I want the 3 pack dvd gameshow games and the Robosapien, unfortunately, by the time we get to the nearest one to us (45 minutes away and we have to go to our Walmart first) they will all be gone:no:

If I have it on layaway and pick it up during BF would I get the discount price? Assuming it's the same one?

Got in line at 7:30, son and I were first and second. They gave out tickets @ 11:00 pm and said bring it back to layaway at 12:00 but if you're not there by 12:15 they would sell to next in line. While we were waiting the hour between, we saw Elmos just sitting on the floor in the aisle waiting to be put on shelf! So, when we left Walmart at 12:30 (they had troubles ringing the laptops up, wouldn't you figure!:) we had scored 2 laptops and 6 Elmos!!! I was on top of the world, until I found out I'd missed bestbuy.com's PS3 preorders!!!

My Walmart got 6 in tonight.

What time should I get in line for this?!?! My Walmart says they have 15.

Just wondering, is this going to be a HOT toy? As in hard to find?

Our NEW Sam's club just opened here yesterday, I was in there today and they had like 3 of them for $239.99. This thing is HUGE!!!! But totally awesome!!!

Bring on the Elmos on BF!! Then the line for the laptops will be shorter for me!!! (Got Elmo on release)

My experience with teenagers is this, if the say ipod, they mean ipod. I could be wrong but if I were you I would make sure an off brand is ok with your son first. But if he wants ipod specifically, if you goto apple.com and click on education discount, you can get them a little cheaper. They also sell refurbished ones which carry the same warranty as a "new" one. As for anyone having the actual ipod brand on bf cheaper, I would be surprised if they did. Last year when my son wanted his, I looked on bf and the stores were actually sold out! I ended up ordering through apple.com education store. Once again, I could be wrong though, you never know!

Debit card as we have direct deposit of our paychecks.Save some each pay. Then whatever I get from selling on ebay is deposited into it.

I bought the FP3 player for my 4yr old for $49.99 @ our Wal-Mart. His older brother (16) has an ipod and he always wants to listen to it and he's very careful with it. Of course big brother doesn't let him wander off with it;) He has to be sitting next to him:tongue1:

My 16 year old son always seems to find out wjat he's gettin. This year, he's gonna stand in line with grandma and me for the ps3 for his Christmas. Hopefully we'll be able to get one!!! But he's not going to be allowed to have it until CHristmas!! Course that'll kill hubby! I think he wants it just as bad!!

I signed .....#40291 I don't really use it but who knows? Maybe I will need it someday! And I want them to keep it for the middle and low income people who REALLY need it to get CHristmas for their kids!! I hope if they do away with it that it KILLS their Holiday sales!

Where are you located? I am in Ohio and looking for a pair of generic ones for my neice. She doesn't care about the brand, just wants skate shoes like heeelys and the cheapest I have found is ebay for $31.95 shipped. She wears a womans 7 or 8 depending on how they fit.

Anyone seen the sing along with elmo set? Good buy or not? Trying to find something for my 4year old to listen to besides Barney!!

I hope they don't do this in Ohio:no: We live in a small town and only have Wal-Mart. SO we usually go there first then drive 45 minutes to the next town to go to Sears, Target, K-Mart, KB, etc. So that would be awful for us!! And I don't want to go to their Wal-Mart because we always get what we want @ ours because it is a small town;)

I have the Kodak z7400 with printer dock and I cannot say enough good things about it!! I absolutely LOVE this camera!!! Great zoom, and quality!! I won't be replacing it for a LOOOONG time!

We usually just put all the ads in a bag and go through them every time we get back in the car LOL!!! I do try to write down what I want at each store and the price in a little pocket sized tablet but I like the idea of a binder. So this year I think I'll give that a try!!!

If it's a pay week, we'll do grocery shopping on Saturday. Otherwise I just look online to try to find anything I didn't find on BF;)

i try to be done with MY shopping by the 1st week in December. The problem is, my dad always hits me up to do HIS shopping for my mom's gifts!!! So I'm not usually done with it til A week before xmas! But I do love to shop!! And spending someone else's money is a plus!!
