I received my secret santa gift today and I LOVE it!! I got a Coke bucket, Harley calendar, a candle (this is very neat!!!), and a bear!!! I want to say a special thank you to my ss because not only did I LOVE it, but my ds5 grabbed the bear and smiled the biggest smile ever!!! He hasn't put it down yet!! You made my day!! We no longer purchase extra extended warranties when we buy anything. Long story short, about 9 years ago, we purchased a big screen tv from Sun TV. They talked us into the extended warranty which cost us $500. 3 months later, Sun TV filed bankruptcy and we were out the warranty AND $500! We received a settlement from Sun TV bankruptcy court....a whole $20!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I'll take my chances on repair costs!

My mom had 2 items on the UPS truck one day when they came to her house, but they couldn't give her one of them even though it was the same name and address because it said to deliver to post office! So she had to wait 2 more days to get it!

Checked 2 other Walmarts today, no luck finding the holiday cp:(. But I did get the 120pc blocks for $10.

When ds was 3, (he's 5 now) he would grab the ornament bulbs off of the tree thinking they were balls and throw them. Can't tell you how many broken bulbs I cleaned up that year! LOL!

I wasnt trying to be mean ( sorry if you took it that way :)), just letting people know some Walmart stores may have them. Ours is a small town so they don't sell expensive toys well. They are VERY cool. We bought ds5 the bonus pack at Walmart and now dh and ds17 can't wait for Christmas so THEY can play with it!! LOL:rolleyes:

It's always worth it to me! It's a day when me, mom, and sister get to go shopping with no kids! And just enjoy ourselves. It's also the thrill of it :)

Wish the same could be said for the Kmart I went to No organization, just a bunch of grouchy clerks.

Went to Walmart around 4:20 for the kids pjs. Went back to where they were and the store manager was there with who I am guessing was his wife. Anyway, he was telling her which pjs to get and she was taking them out from under the black plastic wrap. So I asked him if we were allowed to get them and he said yeah go ahead. So myself and a couple other shoppers proceeded to get the pjs we wanted. Another clerk came by and yelled at us and I told her he told us we could and she got mad and went to ask him and he told her it's just clothes so what? As I was walking away another clerk asked me did you take them from under the wrap? I said yes, xxx told me I could and kept walking. The other clerks were MAD! But if he was going to let his wife take them and tell us we could, I was getting what I needed too!
