Do you know anyone with a Santa suit? You could ask them to deliver them for you just marked from Santa. Course, you could just have someone you know (that they don't know) deliver them for you too. Just a thought...

I bought ds5 a xmas dvd the first part of Nov from Target and it didn't work. We live about 45minutes to an hour away from the nearest Target (depending on traffic) so it was a couple weeks before I was able to make it there to exchange it. But when I did go, it was a very easy exchange! They asked if anything was wrong with it,if I wanted to get another one, and I got the dvd and was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I did have my receipt though.

Still waiting on a package I bought from ebay on 12/3!! I've pretty much given up all hope that it will make it here before Christmas I guess 22 days just isn't long enough for some sellers:confused:

I know how you feel, ds5 doesn't talk much, so we have to just buy him what we think he will like. It would be nice though for him to be able to tell us what he wants. We take him through the toys whenever we are in the store, so we tried to go by what he seems interested in (which seems to be EVERYTHING LOL) Hopefully the toys we have picked out will be a hit and put a smile on his face :) I know it's not the same, but you could always just buy him a couple small toys you think he will like (from Santa) and then give him giftcards and take him shopping after Christmas. We go by amount of money spent. With the age difference between our 2 boys (12 years between them) the prices of their "toys" are different. So ds5 is getting a LOT more than ds17. But we spent the same amount of $$. But ds17 is old enough to understand this.

My mom had this problem a few years ago. She had a plastic snowman and about once a week, someone would cut the cord on it and dad would splice it back together. Until they finally just stole it. We knew the neighbor kids where responsible, but couldn't prove it. Funny, they moved away and it never happened again....hummm

I tried to exchange an item at Walmart (I did buy it there, but lost the receipt) and was told that they no longer accept returns or exchanges for items over $50 without a receipt. Good Luck :)

My husband and I let each other pick out our own gifts. So I pick what I want and he buys it and vice versa. It's all about the kids for us :)

We decided to exchange gifts with my sister's kids on Christmas Eve this year because her boys will be at their dad's on Christmas Day. The problem is, I bought my 12yo niece a DS game but Santa is giving her the DS on Christmas morning so I obviously can't give it to her until AFTER that. So I need a CHEAP gift to give her on Christmas Eve so she isn't left out. I will see her on Christmas Day so I can give her the REAL gift then.

Our Big Lots has several different Diego playsets. They have ones with the Diego vest, phone, watch, goggles for $10 on clearance. Also had other ones with different things in it. Or does he specifically want the one above with crayons etc?

I wouldn't be too worried yet, as many people are busy this time of the year. But if you see the person post, and they still don't mention it, I might worry that they didn't receive it then.
