    WM Layaway

10% down, Oct. layaways at my store must be picked up by Dec. 22nd. No clearance items, no food items, no cleaning supplies may be put in layaway here.
  2. I don't usually go out on Dec. 26th, but will go out on Jan 1st instead. The stores are dead, and the clearance prices are lower than they were on the 26th.
  3. No, they don't do coupons. And they also do not pricematch the "Buy 2 get 1"sales that TRU tends to run during the holiday season.
  4. This year, I'm going to be up by 2am, out the door by 2:30, and in line by 3.
  5. I'm buying more rechargeable batteries, and if I give a gift to someone I always include batteries if they're needed.
  6. I'm really tempted to buy the cheap appliances at Walmart this year. I would like to have a spare coffeemaker, mine always seem to break at the worst time. And the big roaster would be a nice thing to have during the summer, so I wouldn't have to turn the oven on. And the dish/silverware set, and the towels, and well..dang, I really am going to have to wait in line that morning. :rofl
  7. I know that TRU puts some of their stuff online on Thanksgiving(by noon actually), that's how I bought DS's GBA SP two years ago.
  8. Mine didn't bat an eye when I put the items I did on layaway. The 2 CareBears I found were exactly as pictured, with the DVD's. And the LeapPad Plus writing was the one that comes with two books, just like in the ad(although, that's being returned because of my good luck at Savers) Everything else that I wanted from the ad isn't on the shelves yet. I did put some other items(not shown in the ad) on the layaway too, so I didn't just take the layaway out for the BF items. My only problem is that DS saw me put the Carebears in the cart, and keeps asking me about them(one of the two I got is his for Christmas)
  9. There is an Elmo toy up in my closet, I meant to give it to my son last Christmas. It's going to my nephew this Christmas. LOL So yes, I have.
  10. Well, I put a bunch of BF stuff on layaway today(BTW, did you see the Little People sets by chance? I didn't) You won't need to get the price matched, but you will need to bring your receipt back to layaway and have them adjust the price there(if the computer doesn't automatically do it)
  11. If some of those things are in the ad, I will definitely be going there first. Except for the Little people sets and the computer(maybe..gotta see more ads first), I have everything I wanted to get on BF at Walmart on layaway anyway.
  12. Family Guy, Futurama, and Lost for myself, and the Hee Haw boxed set for my grandparents.
  13. Circuit City wouldn't do me any good, so I am anxiously awaiting Best Buy and Target.
  14. DS needs a new magna doodle, and if the prices are good enough, I'll get him a regular one, and the lite brite one. And I REALLY want to see what the price may be on the Lego SW set.
  15. While both Walmarts here are open 24 hours, we still have blue laws(retail stores that sell more than 50% of non-food items must be closed from midnight to noon on Sunday) and that law applies to holidays too.
  16. My 3yo son already has a few Cabbage patch, and he ignores them, so no. However, I did put the last two Care bears(the ones pictured in the BF ad) that my Walmart had on layaway today, and he really wants one of those.
  17. They're not in the stores right now either, although many of the other toy items were on the shelves. At least, they weren't on the shelves here.
  18. If you have a Big Lots near you, check there. I know I saw a bunch of Teletubbie toys at the Big Lots near me.
  19. All you need to do is put the items on layaway(the items that are already available that is). Then, on Black Friday, run back to layaway, pull out your receipt, and ask for the sale prices. Then do a few things in the computer system, and your prices are updated(if they weren't automatically updated)
  20. My budget is going to be 300-400. Although, we may just end up with one of the computers in the ad, so then the budget with be higher. I'm mostly going to be shopping for the non-electronic Black Friday items. I'm heading out either today, or sometime this weekend to put a few of the Little People sets on layaway(and as many other WM black friday items that I can find)
  21. Thank you SO much for this link. I just bought 5 gifts for upcoming birthdays and Christmas with the help of that list. Ooh, one thing that I didn't see listed, Backyard baseball/soccer plug n play game, scanned in at $6.24.
  22. I have put in my request to have the day off, the November schedule isn't done yet though, so who knows if I got it off or not.
  23. Snow, black Friday, no big deal. I am in North Dakota after all.
  24. I go there looking for toys. Year before last I got a $65-75 Chicco kitchen for $15. I forgot to go last year(and kicked myself for it) Oh, and Playmobil sets are generally 75-90% off. I'm going to pick up a few of those this year, my youngest son has a summer birthday, so I like picking up a few things for him during the after Christmas sales.
  25. Usually within the week after the 26th. My favorite is to hit Sam's Club.
